Watermelon Fruitables and Adoptable Dogs

"I wish you could smell the watermelon!"
Watermelon is a staple around the bayou all summer.  You can find roadside trucks with their beds full of juicy melons for sale.  The Farmer’s Market and grocer’s produce department offer them for relief from the scorching heat.  This is the first year that Bentley and Pierre have tried watermelon.  I had seen on other blogs that other dog’s loved the taste.  I was anxious to let the boys try it.  They quickly became melon heads.  What are we to do now that fall is upon us?
Bentley: “That’s a great question Mom.  Luckily, I have the answer.  My friends at Fruitables Pet Food sent us a 5 oz. resealable bag of their limited edition Skinny Minis Watermelon.”
Pierre: “They are incredible tasting and the smell is drool-worthy.  I’m not normally a drooler, but wow, the smell of these really get me going.  I saw Gramma have to get the towel after your chin.”
Bentley: “I’m not ashamed to admit it.  The amazing aromas and tastes are not like any pet
"These taste just like watermelon without the seeds & sticky."
food today.  It smells just like a fresh watermelon.  Each bag is packed with 130 bite-sized gluten free treats that are only 2.5 calories per treat.  They are perfect for the new tricks mom is trying to teach me.  I will turn circles for these made in the USA treats.”
Pierre: “The fun taste of Skinny Minis Watermelon treats is full of antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E.  The fruits and vegetables are chosen as much for their advanced nutritional benefits as their taste.  Superfoods can help us live longer healthier lives.  Fruitables come in a wide variety of flavors and textures.  Ours is chewy but they are available in crunchy, jerky, Greek Yogurt, and Supplements Super Mix.”
Bentley: “I notice the first ingredient is pumpkin.  Then, they add oatmeal, brown rice, tapioca, potatoes, and brown sugar.  They don’t add watermelon pulp; instead, they add real watermelon juice.  There are no artificial flavors in these scrumptious treats.  You also won’t find any wheat, corn, or soy.  Seriously, I wish y’all could smell these.  Mom hates to find a great tasting treat for us that leave her hands stinky.  She doesn’t have that problem with Skinny Minis Watermelon.”
Pierre: “You know Fruitables is owned by Vetscience in Dallas.  They are a pet food company that was founded by veterinarians and nutritionists.  Maybe we can drive over and be their taste testers.  I don’t know if you saw their Christmas treats, but I will be adding the Vanilla Snowflake Crunchy Fruitables to my list for Santa.  They are made with real snowflakes.  I wonder if any two will be alike.”
Bentley: “We need to write those down on our Christmas list right away.  I am going to go ahead and add every other flavor they make too.  Hey, I’ve been really great this year.  I’m sure it will be fine; Fruitables motto is Love Life Together.  I want to love my life together with y’all and Fruitables.”
Pierre: “I’m ready to give my paws of approval for our Watermelon Fruitables.  Did we mention that there are no seeds in them?”
Bentley: “I don’t think our friends were worried about seeds, but good point.  I guess that makes them even more deserving of our best rating of FIVE PAWS!
