Bow Bridge Not Beau Bridges

New York City's Central Park Bow Bridge in B & W
Me: “For B & W Sunday, I wanted to share this photograph of Bow Bridge.”
Bentley: “Pssst…Mom!  That is NOT a picture of Beau Bridges.
Me: “Yes, it is.  Daddy took it when we went to New York City’s Central Park.”
Bentley: “I love Beau Bridges.  I have watched “The Millers” on television with Beau Bridges. That is not Beau Bridges.  Heck, it’s not even Jeff Bridges.  Beau is a three-time Emmy, two-time Golden Globe and Grammy Award winner and he is not in this photo.”
Me: “Bentley, I am saying Bow Bridge. B-o-w not B-e-a-u Bridge. No ‘s.’  It is an actual cast iron bridge in Central Park.  You’ve probably seen it in a lot of movies.  It was built during 1859–1862 and is the 2nd oldest cast-iron bridge in America. It’s a very romantic setting.”
Bentley: “Oh, that makes more sense. Never mind.”
Me: “I wonder if Beau Bridges has ever filmed on Bow Bridge.”
Bentley: “Now, you’re just messing with me.”

  9. LOL What a funny exchange! I've been to Central Park but I don't believe I've been on that bridge. I'll have to catch it next time I go.
