Wellness TruFood is Truly Awesome

Me: “Boys! The box from Wellness® TruFood® was delivered. Who wants to come help me open it and see what is inside?
*A mad dash to the kitchen follows!
Bentley & Pierre: “We do! Pick us, pick us! Me, me, me!”
Basset and Wellness TruFood
"Hey, there is a peek-a-boo window on the side!"

Me: “Okay, you can both help. It looks as if there is something for both of y’all in here. We have TruFood Whole-Food which is baked in small batches and has 70% more raw protein ingredients.”
Bentley: “I’m sure that bag is meant for me! This formula contains salmon, turkey liver, and flaxseed. All of those ingredients are good for me. Look at the side of the bag…there is a peep hole where you can actually see the food inside the bag. If you will notice, there are Super Red Nuggets with 3x the antioxidants of butternut squash and sweet potatoes. The yellow nuggets have 2x the antioxidants of mangos, nectarines, and orange peppers. Excuse the drool; it is involuntary when I see something this delicious.”
Wellness TruFood Whole-Food and Tasty Pairings
Pierre: “I can’t blame you for drooling, Bentley. Each batch is gently mixed, rolled into shapes, slowly baked and then carefully blended to perfection. It is truly living nutrition. Take a look at these whole-prey protein bites and the air-dried fruit and veggies. These colors are all natural too. Wellness doesn’t use any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. You won’t find any meat by-products either. I don’t have to tell you how I feel about meat by-products.”
Me: “Look! The bag has a Velcro closing. That is a great idea. I like that the Wellness TruFood Tasty Pairings come in their very own little cup too. Pierre, you could eat right out of that bowl. The lid peels off and it is ready to serve. That is going to be a great benefit on road trips. You can have the power of the protein with these recipes of shredded meats layered with fruits and veggies. It looks yummy.”
Bentley: “Let me see the yumminess! Oh, it smells sensational. I see that they are available in six different varieties. Pierre might be able to survive on a can, but I’ll need more. It says that we can mix the Tasty Pairings with my dry food and just reduce the dry by ¼ cup for every container. I am not greedy, let’s do a three to one ratio. I love this new line of Wellness TruFood but let’s talk about these treats.”
"I never saw a purple carrot, but I hope to eat one!"
Pierre: “Yes, let’s talk taste treats! To be more specific, let’s try these TruFood Coco Chia Bakes. They look amazing and I love amazing! Our new little nuggets of goodness are prepared with fresh lamb and turkey liver. Then, Wellness packs them with unique superfoods like coconut oil, flaxseed and chia seeds. This box is their Lamb, Purple Carrots, and Coconut Oil. I will be saving room for one of these babies as an after dinner treat.”
Me: “I’m going to give both of you a Grain Free CocoChia Bakes healthy treat. That way, y’all can be my very own Chia pets!”
Bentley: “I can’t believe that you went there, Mom. Seriously, Chia Seeds are super good for me. Wellness knows how to feed dogs and cats the best of everything. That’s why we eat Wellness Complete Health Whitefish & Sweet Potato recipe every morning.”
"Mom found a sale on our Wellness and bought a bunch of bags!"
Pierre: “That’s right. We eat Complete Health for breakfast and then we get a wet meal for supper. This Tasty Pairings is going to make for some special toppings for Bentley and some great meals for me.”
Me: “I have been feeding y’all Wellness for several months now and couldn’t be happier. It is one brand that we keep in our daily regimen even though we will rotate our evening meals. Since I work so hard to keep Bentley on the cool proteins, there are many foods and treats that he can’t enjoy. My research found that Wellness Dry was the best fit for him and now the TruFood is providing another tasty alternative. I believe Wellness’ motto of Unconditional love, uncompromising nutrition®. Now, who is ready for breakfast?”

  16. Glad to see your review! We just started Mabel on the Wellness Tru Food puppy a few weeks ago, looking for a low carb food. We are just now transitioning Bailey & Hazel too Wellness Core, Ocean formula, hoping they do well on it. Looking for something to replace Natures Variety Instinct - it is so expensive.
