A Thanksgiving Feast Fit for Your Best Friend

We were fortunate to receive another amazing box of delicious dog food and treats from our friends at Evanger’s®. It was filled with cans of Hunks of Beef, Whole Chicken Thighs, Roasted Chicken Drummets, and Slow Cooked Chicken Stew.

I dug a little further into the box and found some yummy treats! There was Grain-free Buffalo Jerky Treats, Natural Venison, and Natural Chicken. Everything was drool-worthy according to Bentley and Pierre. Evanger’s was even sweet enough to throw in some samples of their Chicken and Brown Rice, Complete Balance All Natural Chicken and Meat Lovers with Rabbit. Bentley has already claimed the rabbit as his own!

The Evanger’s brand has been a family-owned company for 80 years. You can count on them for top quality ingredients all from the U.S.A. They make food that will satisfy your dog, cat or ferret, no matter how picky they might be when it comes to eating. You can find out much more on their website including pet care tips and big savings with their monthly coupons!

This is the time of the year where we count our blessings. The boys and I realize how very blessed that we are to have a home and good food to eat. That is why we have decided to donate this food to our Humane Society of NW Louisiana. The holidays are usually a time when donations taper off due to everyone having other gifts to buy. It makes us very happy to share our good fortune with those pups that are still waiting for their forever home. We really thank Evanger’s for making this donation possible!
As we prepare for our Thanksgiving dinner here on the Bayou, Bentley and Pierre are constantly under our feet. I think they are hoping that we will drop something tasty for them to gobble. Of course, many of the foods that I prepare are not good for them. I was very happy to receive the following amazing recipes from PetPlan® that are perfect for them. Now, they can get a taste of Thanksgiving without worrying about upset tummies.
