Fido Files Investigates the Identity Crisis #Kuranda

Kuranda Beds' Inspector Bones character
I’d like you to meet Inspector Bones, the Kuranda Bed detective. He visits homes to solve mystery cases and right now, he is in the middle of an identity crisis caper! Don’t be alarmed but this could be happening in your home. Let me explain…
Pet parents everywhere are snapping pictures of their pets doing cute or funny things and posting them on social media. Many of these photos show dogs sleeping in humans spaces without a human beside them. This has lead Inspector Bones to believe these pups are in the throes of an identity crisis. They can be found snoozing in the kid’s beanbag chairs, on the couch or Dad’s favorite recliner trying to get doggone comfortable. These are the photos that Kuranda wants us to share with them in a new fun contest.

I entered this photo of Pierre pretending he is human on our couch. You have until June 14th 2016 to submit photos of your dogs making themselves comfy on your bed, chair, couch, or any other human seat and enter Fido Files Identity Crisis contest. If your photo is selected, you will win the Kuranda bed of your choice! The winner of the “Identity Crisis” contest will be announced on June 14th on Kuranda’s Facebook page.

In addition to giving away a free bed to the winner, Kuranda will donate 5% of all contest participants sales made through the “Shop Now” link on Fido Files web page to Service Dog Project, a non-profit organization in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The organization has donated over 100 Great Danes as service dogs to individuals who have severe balance and limited mobility. You may have seen this story of Bella with her dog George on ABC news. He is a hero dog from the Service Dog Project.

Be sure to follow the fun and fetch more of Fido Files contests on Kuranda's Facebook and Twitter. You can also sign up on the Kuranda website to receive their email alerts.
We received a Kuranda bed so that we could discover why it is trusted in shelters and homes across the country. Bentley and Pierre cannot wait to give their new orthopedic chew-proof bed a trial snooze test. We will tell you all about it in a couple of days. Until then, what are you waiting for? Start snapping those funny photos and enter the Identity Crisis contest today!

  1. I have a Kuranda-type bed and I just love it. Mom may have to buy another one once Mackie discovers it's a joy to sleep on!

    Love ya lots♥

  2. We had a similar bed for outside, but it fell apart after just one season. This one looks much better and is for indoors I think.

  8. What an adorable pic of Pierre! Sam never 'poses' adorably on the sofa...just takes up as much room as he is allowed. ;)

  10. What a great idea for a contest, and to give back too. We saw about Bella on the news...such a great story! Our girls go to bed before we do every night, so they certainly don't need any humans to share the bed with them!

  17. How fun. Do you think they would let a cat enter the contest?

Oh and Pierre do be careful, you may just get woken up by a belly rub in that position.
