Barking from the Bayou, LLC received a variety of Evanger’s Dog Food in exchange for an honest review. We only share products and services that we feel will benefit our audience. Evanger’s is not responsible for the contents of this article.
We have shared our thoughts on Evanger’s Jerky and Beef Lungs over the past two months. You can tell from the photo below, Bentley and Pierre loved them! Today I am going to introduce you to a variety of Evanger’s Dog Food line. You can find it in over 5,000 locations or order online.
Evanger’s is a family-owned company that has been making quality dog and cat food since 1935. Thirteen years ago they became the first pet food company to pack their food by hand. You can see whole pieces of meat and vegetables when you open the can. They call the process that started this new trend in the pet food industry, “People Food for Pets™”.
The Grain-Free Hand-Packed foods are available in Chicken Drummet, Braised Beef, Whole Uncut Sardines, Hunk of Beef, Whole Chicken Thighs, Chunky Chicken Casserole. A special cooking process makes any bones tender and tasty. I add this as a protein to the boys’ regular food.
This photo is the Grain & Gluten Free Signature Slow-Cooked Stew in the lamb formula. Can you see the yummy cuts of real lamb? It was simmered with veggies fresh from the farm and was in creamy gravy. This is also available in beef, turkey, and chicken.
HiBio™ Chicken Super Food (Semi-Dried) was a huge hit on the bayou. Short for High Biological, this high nutrient food contains 9 essential amino acids in a meat-based food. The gentle process used in drying the 85% meat with no grains or glutens provides higher moisture levels than traditional kibble. The pieces are a nice size and I used them for treats during training. It also has LactoSacc™ to help support healthy digestion, BioPlex™ to help keep pets’ skin and coat healthy. The SelPlex™ helps provide immune support for a complete and healthy diet.
Evanger’s Grain Free Complete Balanced Diet, as well as their Super Premium recipes, provide fresh meat as the first ingredient. The Super Premium was selected as the top approved dry food by Whole Dog Journal. Both of these foods are approved for the life of your dog.
