Dr. Harvey's Herbal Protection Spray

Summertime is here and if you've read the headlines, you already know it is going to be a record season for fleas and ticks. That means everyone needs to be extra diligent in protecting their dogs. We have been lucky not to have to deal with the little bloodsuckers in the yard but that doesn’t mean the boys can’t pick them up on walks. A single tick bite can cause tick fever, paralysis or Lyme Disease.
There are dozens of preventatives available on the market. They include spot-on applications, pills, and sprays but the problem is that most contain harsh chemicals. I don’t like exposing Bentley and Pierre to chemicals if I can avoid them. I’m not comfortable giving them something that stays in their bloodstream for a month. There are so many side effects that it scares me.
Thankfully, Dr. Harvey’s has the perfect solution with their Herbal Protection Spray. I spray the boys before going on our walks and they are safe from fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes! It has a pleasant herbal smell which is great for Bentley’s sensitive nose. Since there are no chemicals, if your dog has dry, allergy-prone or delicate skin they won’t have a problem with this all-natural spray.
Ingredients include these essential oils; catnip, Erigeron, Neem, Citronella, Cedarwood, Geraniums, Eucalyptus and Organic Rosemary. Doesn’t that sound fantastic? I love being able to protect my best friends from flea and tick bites with oils and organic herbal extracts. What about the mosquitoes? They don’t even light on them! Dr. Harvey’s Spray is made with human-grade ingredients in the USA. Spray your dog’s bedding, sleep area, leashes or kennels for added protection.
You can order an 8 oz. bottle for only $15.95 and use my 10% off discount code.

  3. Mom says because we are out and about so much and ticks are really a problem here we need to use the chemicals to stay safe. It's great if the other methods work for many dogs, but we are exposed to ticks all the time and the risk of tick disease is worse than the chemicals to keep them away. Happy weekend!

We have several case of that horrid dog flu in our city. I don't know why folks don't give their dogs shots for it before there are outbreaks

  9. That sounds like great protection for most dogs! I don't know if the rosemary is bad for an epileptic dog - it's bad for it to get into their bloodstream. Hmmm. I love the idea of this product for our non-epileptic dog!

  11. We've only had trouble with fleas on rare occasions, but ticks are always an issue in the spring and fall. I am always looking for all natural products like this that work - I won't do those chemicals either!

  19. Fleas have been especially bad in our area over the past few years - we lucked out and got away without any issues, until last year. My dogs picked them up from outside and then our cats got them from the dogs. My oldest cat, Moko (she's at least 10 - possibly older) has allergies and apparently is very allergic to fleas, so last year was horrible for us. Ticks aren't as prevalent, but they are predicting it's going to be a bad year for them, too, since we had a mild winter and very wet spring.

  22. We don't have too much trouble at our house but we go camping quite a bit with our dog and the ticks out there are terrible. I spend quite a bit of time examining our little princess when we are out in the woods.

  24. The ticks in eastern NH are nasty this month. I found a tick on my Dog this week. I checked my Dog for pests as soon as we returned home from our walk. He had a large welt were the tick had been.
