Bentley Basset Hound: “Hello and welcome to this week’s BFTB NETWoof News and weather. This is where I normally toss it over to my co-anchor Pierre for our top story. Today, I’d like to change things up and take the lead with a huge thank you for all the birthday wishes across social media!   I’d love for everyone to take a minute or two and enter our Giveaway of My Decade. We have prizes from PrideBites, Dr. Harvey’s, Chewy, Einstein Pets, Treatibles, Sit Stay Go, One Fur All and more! I really appreciated all the love from you. We will share more of the party and have a look at the prizes you could win over the next few days. Stay tuned!”

Pierre Westie: “It is an excellent giveaway and there will be a grand prize and two great prize winners.
Our next story shows the bond between a dog and a baby. Most dogs bond quickly to their family’s new members. When a rescue dog in Connecticut was adopted by a family with a nine-week-old baby, they had their concerns. Duke proved to be a terrific big brother and loved the baby. That is one of the reasons when he leaped onto the parents’ bed shaking uncontrollably, they knew something was wrong. They followed him into the nursery where they quickly realized the baby had stopped breathing. EMS was able to arrive and revive the infant, but everyone agrees that Duke is the real life-saver!”
BFTB NETWoof News reports on a rare male Calico kitten
Bentley: “That is another wonderful reason to adopt your dog or cat. Rescues ROCK!
Speaking of rescues, a woman heard some faint cries coming from a dumpster. She checked and discovered a week-old kitten which needed immediate veterinary care. She named him Martyr and discovered she had found a very rare kitty. His prognosis was good other than losing a paw but that is not what made him unique. Martyr is a male Calico while most are female. A male only happens in 1 of 3,000 Calico births! Oh boy!”
BFTB NETWoof News report on PrideBites
Pierre: “As you know, we are PAWtners with PrideBites and always recommend their products. Mom has already sent our Christmas list off to PrideBites. If you haven’t ordered your personalized gifts yet, today is the deadline for Christmas delivery. You will still be able to order their products without personalizing them or stuffing a stocking with a classic toy.
Today is also the last day to receive an incredible 30% off! Use my link and enter SAVEME30 at checkout. That is a big deal.”
BFTB NETWoof Weather Lab Paisley
Paisley the Weather Lab: “I need to make sure my peeps have seen my PrideBites wish list too.
I have good news for all the people who have been wishing for more winter-like temperatures. The northern states can bundle up and get ready for some cold with snow storms. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
The center of the U.S to the eastern shore will have storms then turn cooler by midweek. Florida can expect some rain while most of the southern states will be stormy. Cooler temperatures from an Arctic Blast are right behind the rain. It will be sunny and mild on the west coast. Always keep an eye to the sky and an ear to your local weather for updates or warnings. Have a good week no matter what the weather.”
Bentley: “I am not looking forward to the storms, but we do need the rain around here. I’ll just munch some Treatibles and chill.
Thank you again for all the well-wishes for my big day. As I said, we will share more about the party and giveaway over the next few days so drop back by for the fun. Don’t forget to fetch your daily bonus point while you’re here! We still have our 4Gifts for Pets Giveaway going on too. You can find today’s Bonus Word on my Twitter and Pinterest.
Have a wonderful week and be sure to grab yourself some happy.”
