Celebrating Gifts from Friends

“Hey, it’s me, Bentley. Mom and Dad sprang us from prison picked us up from the Bed & Biscuit on Tuesday afternoon. Thanks for all of the tips on how to handle our reunion. We practiced what we were going to tell them about how horrible it was and how we were mistreated. Then, the lady who helps take care of us bent down to say “goodbye”. Pierre and I gave her some serious kisses so it kind of blew the whole “mistreated dogs” routine.
Once we were home, we hurried into the living room where our presents were waiting to be opened. Pierre and I joined our Blogville friends in a gift exchange. He sent a present to Hailey from The Hailey and Zaphod Chronicles. We have been enjoying their adventures for years! My gift was for MaddieThePug. She helps her Mom with their blog, Military Wife and Pug Life. They make us laugh until we cry with some of their posts. It seems their blog and social media are not working right now. We hope everything is okay.
Box of dog toys and treats

Castiel Pug who is also from Military Wife and Pug Life had Pierre’s name and sent some fabulous gifts! There was even some candy for Mom!

Pierre wanted to play with all the toys at one time! He had both the snowman and Santa heads in his mouth. I showed some interest in the Christmas Tree Puppy toy so…

He grabbed it right out from under my nose and ran. He LOVES his toys so much and can’t wait to try the peanut butter Wag More Bark Less® soft treats too! He kept his eyes on me as I began to open my gift.
Basset Hound with head in an envelope
My package came from Christmas of Paw Province. He knew exactly what I wanted! As you can see, I stuck my entire head in the package. Something in there smelled yummy.

WOW, Christmas! You did so good picking out my gifts. These gingerbread treats are soft and delicious. Mom says she is tempted to try one herself. They smell amazing! Check out my new rope toy. It has not one but TWO tennis balls on it. Pierre had better prepare for some serious tug o’ war. I loved my letter too. (It was guy stuff)
We really appreciate the gifts, Castiel Pug and Christmas! Everything was perfect.
Thanks to everyone for our Christmas cards. We love seeing all our friends dressed in their holiday finery!
