Solvit Deluxe Telescoping Pet Ramp Solves Problems

Do you pick your dogs up to put them in the car? It can be a real pain in the back! That is why we were so excited to receive our Solvit™ Deluxe Telescoping Pet Ramp from Chewy.com.
9 Reasons We Love Our Solvit Ramp
Woman carrying Solvit Deluxe Telescoping Pet Ramp
It has a convenient carrying handle and only weighs 13lbs. Made from a combination of aluminum and plastic makes it one of the lightest and strongest ramp on the market.
Solvit Pet Ramp safety strap and catch
There is a safety strap and catch that must be engaged to prevent the ramp from extending unintentionally. It is easy to snap and unsnap when you are ready to use the ramp.
Using a carabiner keeps the Solvit ramp stable during travel.
Skipper came up with the idea of attaching the ramp to our kennel with a large carabiner to keep it from moving around.
Westie walking up Solvit Deluxe Pet Ramp
We let the boys explore the ramp on the living room floor. They weren’t scared at all which is great because Pierre usually has trust issues. As you can see, he took right to it.
Basset Hound walking on Solvit Telescoping Pet Ramp
Bentley seemed truly relieved to be able to walk up to their car kennel. He doesn’t like being lifted and we are always concerned he will twist his back. The surface allows his paws to have excellent traction.
Solvit Telescoping Pet Ramp set up on SUV with dogs in kennel.
We have the regular size Solvit ramp. It can telescope from 39” to 72” and fit a height of 30”. The tread surface is 13” and will support up to 400 lbs!
Our Solvit Pet Ramp fits perfectly in our SUV

This deluxe telescoping ramp slides out to use and slides in to stow. No folding. It fits perfectly in the back of our SUV.

I am in love with our new ramp. It makes me so proud to see Bentley walking on it and it is much safer than picking him up. For all our backs!

We want to thank Natalie and Chewy for our awesome Solvit Deluxe Telescoping Pet Ramp. They have made life on the bayou so much safer and easier.
How do your dogs get in the car? If you don’t have a ramp, we definitely recommend this one!

We want to wish our dad a very, very happy birthday! Thank you for being our best friend, photographer and protector. We love you!

  1. I love this ramp... it is much much better than the ones we sometimes see in pet stores... there is no slipping and no fears for the pups and for the pets. Happy Birthday to your daddy!

  2. We have a ramp that is very similar! We originally got the ramp when we had our Big Guy...at over a hundred pounds...it was a necessity! We use our ramp to go up and down the steps in the front of our house...they are quite steep! It works out great! So glad you guys got one too!

  3. What a great ramp and you boys did a great job climbing it! Mom says that if the day comes when I need one of these, she'll know right where to go. Thank you!

  4. A super happy birthday to your dad! Spoil him rotten today! We learn from day one to put our front paws up on the back seat or the tail of the car to get our seat belts on, and the Mom lifts our bum in the rest of the way. She lifts us out too. We are not that heavy and there is no room to store a ramp in the car with us really. It is a great idea for those who can make it work. Solvit makes great products.

    1. We spoiled Dad to the max! Thanks for the wishes. The boys will both put their paw on the tailgate but I'm so afraid of Bentley hurting his back being lifted in and out. The ramp does away with that worry.

  10. We love our Solvit ramp too! I think we have the exact same one. It is so good for dogs not to jump out of vehicles. I wish we'd had one when we had our beagle Kobi - he always hated being picked up too! He would have loved it.
    Happy Birthday to Skipper!!

    1. I have thought about getting a ramp for the bed but I'm afraid Bentley might try to jump off instead of going down the ramp. Maybe one for the couch.
