Welcome to Thoughtless Thursday on the Bayou! I am joining my friends Ruckus the Eskie and
Love is being owned by a Husky for a take-it-easy blog post. I have been busy trying to get my business
cards, media kit, and Flat Pet ready for the BlogPaws conference. It is coming up so quickly! I’ll be ready to order everything tomorrow. I'm visiting everyone’s blog, but I
have tried to refrain from leaving too many comments. I always hate just visiting and not saying
hello. I’ll be back to leaving more
messages as I get more of my MUST DO list checked off so I can relax. Just know that I am visiting!
You may not be surprised for me to admit that I am a quote-aholic. I love the quotes on my sidebar. I can spend hours reading quotes. I think it stemmed from my 6th
grade teacher. She made us memorize a
quote every week and I became addicted to them.
Today as a thoughtless post, I decided to share some of my favorite dog
quotes with you.
I always say, the time you spend
with your dog makes the difference in a great dog or a crate dog. ~ Faith

We give dogs time we can spare,
space we can spare, and love
we can spare. In return, dogs give us their all. It’s the best
deal man has ever made. ~ M. Acklam
we can spare. In return, dogs give us their all. It’s the best
deal man has ever made. ~ M. Acklam
Dogs love their friends and bite
their enemies, quite unlike people, who are incapable of pure love and always
have to mix love with hate. ~
Sigmund Freud
A dog teaches a boy fidelity,
perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down. ~ Robert Benchley

world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever. ~ Karen Davison

Thoughtless Thursday Blog Hop!
Take the time to visit these other blogs to
see what’s up with them.
Have a great day and come back to see us
tomorrow!
Wow! I can see you love your quotes! But they're all lovely quotes, and true.
ReplyDeleteEarl and I.
We enjoy reading quotes, but don't hunt them down. I guess I will need to take a photo will flat Bentley. Poor Bentley, I know how he must be feeling having to stay home and be replaced with his flat self...that was me last year.
ReplyDeleteAwesome quotes! (especially the great dog vs. crate dog!) Happy Thursday!!!

Great quotes! Some I had heard, some I hadn't. I think the M. Acklam one is my favorite. I always feel bad when I get so busy I don't have time to leave comments on everyone's blogs, but sometimes it's just impossible. For anyone that follows their stats it helps to just get a visit to the page too (at least that's what I tell myself). :)

Love your quotes! I love good quotes myself ....perhaps not as much as you!!! haha!
ReplyDeleteI have seen some of those on fb, some are new to me though. Love it!
Thanks for linking up with us!

I have been collecting quotes since I was in High School. I am also a "Quote addict" I bought a book years and years ago called, "10,000 Quips and Quotes"...if it is still available, purchase it......you will have a FIELD DAY!
ReplyDeleteI love the John Holmes quote. My favorite source of quotes is my favorite author, Mark Twain, he has some great animal quotes. My favorite "Heaven goes by favor not by merit, if it went by merit you would stay out and your dog would go in." I may have botched that a bit, also if htere is a heaven dogs are definitely in it

Nice quotes! I don't think I have heard some of them before.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes! Man, you're really planning heavy duty for BlogPaws! I already have business cards, but no media kit or flat pet. Walking four flat pets would make me feel a little awkward... I hope I run into you there!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you I love quotes and poems. I try to incorporate one into Nothing But Norman. I love that Video and have shared it also, it's such a stunning video never tire from watching it.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes.
ReplyDeleteOk you win, you are a quoteaholic. hahaha!
