Bentley: “Let’s face it, some winter days are just too wet or cold to play outside for very long. When we are trapped inside all day, we need an outlet for our energy.”
Pierre: “That’s right. I don’t mean to rat us out, but a bored dog can get into mischief. Humans don’t always appreciate it when we take entertainment into our own paws. Luckily, our friends at Chewy.com have a terrific assortment of interactive toys to keep us occupied.”
Bentley: “We are going to review one of them today. It is the Kibble Drop™ from Outward Hound®. If it has Hound in the name, it must be fun! This toy has four chambers covered by treat-hiding flaps. Mom pours the kibble into the middle hole and the kibble runs down into the chambers.”
Pierre: “The object of the game is for us to lift the flaps and discover the treats. There are scent guides on each flap so our nose knows where to find the kibble. Sounds like pup’s play, right?”
Bentley: “I thought it was a great way to score treats. After Mom showed me how the flip lifted, I was doing the snatch and munch each time. It is made from a durable plastic so it will last a long time. This isn’t a difficult puzzle but it was entertaining. Chewy.com has them on sale for only $7.99 and that is a great price for this particular treat-seeking toy.”
Pierre: “You enjoyed this toy more than I did, but that could be because it was so easy. I require a more complicated puzzle to keep me interested for very long. I’m not saying that I am smarter, it’s just that I am pretty much a genius.”
Bentley: “Pffft, I think it is because I had already eaten the kibble out of the chambers before you figured out how to open them. If there is one thing that I would change about the Outward Hound Kibble Drop, it is to put suction cups on the bottom of the chambers. It has non-skid grips but as you will see in our video, it scooted all over the floor.”
Pierre: “I agree 100%. When we moved it to the carpet, you cheated and dumped it over with your snout. The kibble went all over the place and you turned into a one dog vacuum cleaner sucking the pieces into your mouth.”
Bentley: “A dog has to do what a dog has to do. Now without further ado, we present the video of our first Kibble Drop encounter.”
Pierre: “Don’t forget that you can order toys and so much more from Chewy.com. They are available 24/7 and most orders arrive at your door in two business days! If your order is $49.00 or more then you get free shipping. Don’t worry if you spend less than that, the shipping is only $4.95. They carry over 400 brands and offer a 100% guarantee if you are not tail-wagging happy with your order.”
Bentley: “That has never happened to us. We love shopping at Chewy.com and I’m sure that you will too. By the way, we are joining our friends Sugar the Golden Retriever and Oz theTerrier in their monthly Chewy.com blog hop. Now you can see all of the cool items that my friends review from Chewy each month.

Must admit the boys were not impressed with this toy - Denny quickly figured out if he tipped it over all the treats fell out at once :)
ReplyDeletethat looks interesting... and very tasty :o) my mom will not buy such a toy for me again, because I always misuse such kind of toys and wreck them :o) Either I'm a genius or a doofus... or maybe both hehehehehe
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar puzzle, but can't use it because Bailie learned as tiny puppy, if you pick it up and turn it upside down and shake it, all the stuff falls out. Enjoy your game, boys!
ReplyDeleteWE have that Puzzle thingy... got it from CHEWY.COM two winters ago... it is SUPER fun and Easy.. and WASHABLE.. which MOM likes a LOT...
ReplyDeleteSometimes WE just get Carried away and UPSET the thingy and do Snatch an Grab... so suction cups MIGHT be somethingy MOM would like.
Now MOM sits on the floor with us and just drops ONE kibble at a time... then we have to figure out WHICH place it is hiding...
We love OURS and CHEWY is THE place to get it... we saved 3 green papers over the Brick and Mortar price.... IF it can EVEN be Found in one of those places.
What a cool toy!! We just finished "testing it" for a review Mama is doing on Monday!! Isn't Chewy.com the best!!

How PAWsome!
ReplyDeleteWe wonder if this puzzle would work for cats as well. We're definitely scent driven.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely kept you busy and looks like fun, guys! We got this for the crew as well, but haven't tried it yet. You two boys play so well together, I'm not sure ours will...we'll probably try it individually first!

That looks interesting. Maybe if your mom wasn't snoopervising you so much you could have turned it upside down and shook it?
