The Plot
Tracy and his rescue dog, Charger must foil plans of an evil businessman that wants to knock over their beach restaurant to build a golf course. Tracy manages to pay the bills (with help from his brother), manage the kitchen (with help from his dog, Charger) and fall in love (with the help of a beautiful dancer, Bridget). Through a series of mishaps and hilarity, our couple discovers they might need their rescue dogs to rescue them! Isn’t that the way it is supposed to be?
*Rescue Dogs - The Movie held a #myrescuedogstory campaign where people submitted their rescue dog’s stories and photos. They have selected over 30 of these dogs to be featured in the end titles. Some of the other entrants will be shared on their social media and blog site.
Where and when will Rescue Dogs premiere?
Selected theaters will be showing Rescue Dogs – The Movie in the spring of this year! It will also debut streaming, Video on Demand, and DVD outlets across the country. The cities are selected based on finding the right charities. They are looking for sizeable, no-kill rescues that will work with them to pack the theater by activating their mailing lists, social media and willing to host live adoption events opening weekend.
But that’s not all…
After the opening weekend, they will continue to work with charities in any city to allow them to host a theatrical screening of the film as a fundraising tool. This will begin 2 weeks after the initial opening. The plan is to partner with at least 100 shelters and rescue organizations.
Rescue Dogs-The Movie is more than just a great movie.
It is a movie Making a Difference!
Here is how…
· Partnering with a vetted, approved rescue organization in each city where it opens.
· Hold live adoptions events all day Saturday and Sunday of opening weekend.
· Raise awareness and money for the partner charities. In addition, the producers are committed to donating a percentage of their proceeds back to the various charities on a personal level.
· Give Brands the chance to include their product in an Adoption Gift Basket for each animal that is adopted at the events. They will be selecting a limited group of food, treats, collars, toys and leash brands to be part of the basket. The baskets will be displayed at each event location. *If you are interested in having your product included in these baskets, leave a comment and I will share the information with you.

Our
thoughts and prayers are with our beautiful friend, Sugar the Golden Retriever. She is undergoing surgery to remove a
tumor on her spleen. Sugar has been sharing her Golden smiles with the world
for 14½ years and is loved by thousands who enjoy her Golden Woofs blog. Sugar’s
mom was one of my first friends in the blogging world and has been extremely
helpful in my journey. Together Sugar and her family have traveled and spread their
smiles and love of life from coast to coast. We hope that the love and good
wishes from everyone will comfort them during the surgery and recovery. ♥ Stay Golden
