Do you give much thought to your dog’s mobility and flexibility? If they are getting older, chances are it is something on your mind. One of the many things we share with our dogs and cats is the realization that as we age, we can have issues with our movements. It is important that we get daily exercise to maintain an ease of movement.
Bentley is 8-years-old and Pierre just celebrated his 5th birthday. They are still very active and I want to make sure they stay that way. I feed them a great diet, keep my veterinarian appointments and add all-natural supplements to help provide an extra layer of protection.
One of those supplements is DGP™ from American BioSciences. This beefy flavored chewable is great for cats and dogs. It is specially formulated to support the mobility and flexibility in our aging pets. DGP may help ease the aches and discomfort that can be caused by exercising, training, or too much playtime.
Developed by Australian master herbalists and scientists, this readily absorbable combo of high quality ingredients provides essential nutrients essential for the health and well-being of our aging pets. Here is a list of the active ingredients in DGP:
We can’t stop the aging process but we can make a difference in the flexibility and mobility our pets enjoy as they age. DGP is fast acting and veterinarian recommended. You no longer have to wait for glucosamine or chondroitin to take effect. I am very happy to know that I am adding a healthy supplement that will keep us walking and playing for years to come.
Are you giving your pet any supplements? If so, have you noticed a difference? Leave a comment and let us know.

Wally has a bit of arthritis and usually gets cosequin in his food. I wonder if he would eat these. ~Island Cat Mom

DeleteMany dogs eat DGP tablets in their food. If you would like to try some for Wally, send us your mailing address to dgppets@gmail.com!
I was very concerned with Daisy in her later years because I know she had some hip and leg pain. Arthritis maybe. I want to make sure Cocoa does not have pain if I can help prevent it.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, M.K. Clinton for sharing this amazing blog about DGP! We are so happy your pups tried DGP and you spread the word about our product!
ReplyDeleteI was fascinated to see this was created by Australians. I haven't been able to source it here yet, but I do hope I can. Finn (7) currently has a mix of glucosamine & rose hip products (powders), but beef chews would be good for both he & Isagold (12). Do you know if they can have DCG along with glucosamine/condroiton?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Annette @PetsAreFound
Yes, both DGP and glucosamine/chondroitin can be taken in combination. However, most glucosamine/chondroitin users find that DGP can take its place without the need for using both products. Have you tried DGP before? Would you like to test it out?
DeleteTucker, my 12yr old Wheaten seems to be walking slower lately, even though he is on Cholodin and Glycoflex 3. Once in a while he'll limp a little. He's somewhat better on these supplements than he was in the fall when I first noticed symptoms. Would I add DGP to his supplements, or use instead?
ReplyDeleteHi Beverly,
DeleteThanks for your interest in DGP! DGP can be used in conjunction with Cholodin and Glycoflex 3, but is so effective that you will most likely find that you are able to replace other pet joint supplements with DGP and simply use it instead. If you are interested in a bottle, please reach out to us at dgppets@gmail.com or send us a Facebook message!
