A Jeans and The Mountain T-Shirt Type Girl

If given the choice, I would wear jeans and t-shirts every day. My fashion style has not changed much since I was a teenager. I’ve never been a dress-up type of girl. I like being comfy and for me, that means slipping into a pair of faded jeans and a tee.
Back in the 60’s and 70’s t-shirts became the way people expressed their joy and showed who you were and what you stand for. Since then, it has become a wardrobe staple for men, women, and children across America. As a 70’s teen, I worked at Spencer Gifts where I was in charge of making t-shirts. Back then they were transfers that had to be “ironed” on shirts with a press. The quality was not the best and your transfer usually ended up peeling off and looking shabby.
Thanks to The Mountain®, t-shirts have become a beautiful fashion statement. They have been making high-quality tees, tanks, hoodies and nightshirts for 30 years. I have been wearing The Mountain shirts for years. To put it simply, they are the best-looking t-shirts that I have ever owned. My closet is full of their designs including two BlogPaws conference shirts that I treasure.
You might have noticed that I have recently become an affiliate for The Mountain. Let me explain what made me decide to join their team. As I said, I have a number of shirts from The Mountain and they really are my favorites. Well, on our way home from the BlogPaws conference where we had received two awesome specially designed shirts from The Mountain, we stopped at a store for gas and some snacks. I noticed shelves of colorful tees. I couldn’t help myself from browsing. After I found two shirts that I couldn’t resist, I noticed the tag. Yep, they were more shirts from The Mountain! When I got back in the car I told my husband that I need to work with this company. They make the shirts that I love to wear.
Once we returned home, I did some research on the company and what I found out, cinched the deal for me. The Mountain is the greenest t-shirt company in America. They use 100% natural U.S.A. cotton and are 100% Oekotex certified which guarantees their shirts are free from chemicals. They use organic dyes too! All of their tees are dyed and printed in New Hampshire.
The Mountain also loves to give back. Their Hero Collection gives a percentage of each sale to Operation Hat Trick. OHT was founded at the University of New Hampshire to honor two Navy Seals who were killed in Iraq in 2008. You can see the entire inspirational designs here.
Since 2015, a portion of every Russo Rescue Collection supports the work of the Best Friends Animal Society. This is a national welfare organization that works tirelessly to end the killing of dogs and cats in our shelters. Dean Russo’s artwork is unique and known for its brilliant colors and bold abstract designs. I love the Basset Hound shirt.
One of the best things about The Mountain is their terrific sales. Right now, you can save 15% on the wolf, Dean Russo, and their Native American collections through Sunday, November 6, 2016. 6. Nice t-shirts. Did you hear on the news yesterday, women over 53 shouldn't wear jeans anymore? My mom only has one year left and she is scrambling. Thank dog she is a rule breaker and I think she will just pretend she missed that rule!

    1. I love being a rebel. I will be wearing jeans and tees into my 90's! (Hopefully)

  7. Our mom says she isn't a fancy gal either.

  8. Wish I could get one right now but I can't. I LOVE their shirts!!! I think you and I were separated at birth because my "outfit of choice" for ALL occasions (that I can get away with it) is a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers!!!!! You are MY kind of "people!" xxoxo DakotasDen

  9. I'm also a jeans/T-Shirt and (up here in the Pacific NW, denim shirt over the tee shirt)...which was exactly what I wore all through high school. Love Mountain shirts!

  10. Omg Spencers! I still go in there. They have great Marvel gear. Hahaha.

    Mr Bailey, Hazel & mabel

  12. I'm a jeans and t-shirt gal too, but I need more of these Mountain tees! I think I only have a couple. I didn't even know they were made right here in my state. I love what a caring company they sound like too. I think it's time to update my wardrobe!

  13. Not a thing wrong with jeans and tees...besides, we're huge fans of The Mountain!

  14. I thinks that's all Ma wears! Ma wishes they would do more than the most popular dog breeds though. She is forever disappointed that there are never any Airedales or anything even close. Though the Native American collection is mighty cool!

  15. Claire wears the same uniform as you. She has some t-shirts from the Mountain, and it's one of the best quality she has ever seen. The designs are beautiful. We're fans too ! Purrs

  16. I LOVE The Mountain t-shirts, they're exceptionally beautiful & artistic. Having a Husky, it's no surprise that I love the Wolf Collection. In Salem this Halloween I saw an amazing black cat t-shirt, it was so artistically done & so beautiful I had to buy it. Lo and Behold, I looked at the tag and it said... The Mountain! These shirts make such great holiday gifts.
