It's Fill-Ins and Flowers

   Friendly Fill-Ins
We really enjoy participating in McGuffy’s Reader 15 and Meowing Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop! We are very excited to share our answers and look forward to reading what others share.
1. My next book series will be children’s books so my granddaughter can enjoy them.
2. Fireworks should be left to the professionals and not allowed in neighborhoods. This is Bentley Basset Hound’s honest opinion.
3. Freedom is usually taken for granted until you lose some part of it. We are so lucky to live in America where we can express ourselves without fear of reprisal.
4. This week, I am thankful that we were able to help move our son and his precious family from Washington to Texas. It was a long and winding five-day journey on the road, but we arrived safely to their lovely new home.

  1. your lantana bush is super beautiful! and I'm with you, it is enough to have the official firework... but sadly so much people think otherwise... and they don't regret that they blow their own money in the air... crazy...

  2. Gorgeous flowers! Have a happy 4th of July weekend. Hope the boomers are not too bad for you.

  3. That's a cool-looking spider on that day lily. The flowers are beautiful!

  4. Happy 4th of July Weekend. Those are some lovely flowers. I should tell mommy to enter her garden blog in that blog hop. We don't like fireworks either. They are scary. Mommy lives them, but she lives us more and doesn't want us scared. She thinks boomies should only be for professionals, too.

  5. Your flower images are FABULOUS! And congrats on the new series of books for children. Can't wait to see them. Have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend! 🇺🇸

  6. Love your flowers but especially the stunning Magnolia!

  7. Oh, I especially love that's gorgeous! We agree with Bentley - fireworks should definitely be left to the professionals. We wish everyone could have a quiet 4th.

  8. Bentley AMEN to your fill in #2. Fireworks should be illegal in residential areas there are too many idiots whose brains turned to mush when they have them.
    Your flowers are gorgeous
    Hugs Madi and mom

  10. Great fill ins and beautiful photos. Now about that spider . . .

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  11. Beautiful flowers! And we agree about the fireworks. The average human should not be able to have them in our opinion.

  12. Glad the move went well and hopefully there were no snags.

  13. Beautiful magnolia. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I missed you last week. Great answers, so true about freedom- and fireworks too. I look forward to your children's series and will get them for my great niece. Have a nice weekend!

  14. Those flowers are beautiful! We're not fans of fireworks here, either. The ones that people shoot off illegally in the neighborhood are dangerous and scary.

  15. those are FABulous answers! Nows, I thinks that peeps should not set off fireworks either. They don't bother me, butts so many puppers and kittehs and other anipals really gets freaked out by them! Your blooms are FABulous!!! Ma is so jealous of the day lily's...she seems to manage to kill them..☺

  16. Hi Pierre and Bentley...just saw your ? about Mia and Frisco....
They live 3 hours away from us on the NC Coast. Thus far when their peeps come to visit us they stay at home. However, should there be an evacuation do to a HURRY-CANe they would come here.
    Hugs madi your bfff

  17. Love your comment about freedom - and agree 100%! Hey, Texas is a LOT closer to LA than Washington!! WOO-HOO!
