when someone bumps their head, it is usually good for a laugh.
Bountiful Blooms

We have three giant pots of
begonias. They last until the first frost so sometimes I have them until
February!
I love my daylilies. I have
them in several of my backyard gardens. They make me smile.
I planted my lantana bush
years ago under a shrub in my front yard. I had no idea it would get so big but
I love it.

ReplyDeleteThe bees love my lantana bush! Enjoy your weekend too!
DeleteMeetings were the bane of my working years, glad I have more time to enjoy flowers.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth! My meetings were in the school library where I worked so I got to sit at my own desk. FYI~ Teachers like to talk during meetings. LOL!
DeleteWow! So many hops today! I don't have any new flower pictures, maybe next week. But I'll try to find a good post for the Pet Parade.

ReplyDeleteLuckily, most of ours come back on their own or I'm not sure we'd have any either!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I love being able to have fun Fridays but sometimes my scheduled reviews fall on Fridays.
DeleteLove that photo of the bee!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was glad it was more interested in the flowers than my husband's camera.
DeleteWhat beautiful flower photos! Good capture of the insects too - what is that green bug on the daylily? I couldn't tell if it was a grasshopper or not, but it sure has some long antennas! :)
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Thanks! I have no idea what type of bug that is but they like my flowers.

DeletePretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteWe try but can't compete with your gardens! LOL!
DeleteMy dad grew begonias when I was a child!
ReplyDeletehugs
Hazel & Mabel
It amazes me how sturdy of a flower the begonias are since they look so delicate. I had some that grew one entire year since it never got cold here!
DeleteFill-ins are so fun aren't they!? It reminds me of Mad Libs - do you remember those? That was one of my favorite things to play. Beautiful flowers! I had Lantana's in Phoenix where they grew all year round. They got so big and flowered most of the year. They're drought tolerant too.
ReplyDeleteLove & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
I love Mad Libs too! It is a good thing they are drought tolerant. We've had a good bit of rain this summer but August is usually very dry and hot.
DeleteOh, those are some FABulous blooms!!!! The bee is my FAVorite! We have had some bees around this year, butts mostly we gots the yellow jackets...yuck! So far they have left Ma alone, butts she is keepin' an eye on them since she's allergic. sigh. She loves the bees though. they have never stung her her whole life. ☺
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
We have some red wasps that I avoid like the plague! Bentley used to try to catch the bees but thankfully, after a few stings he has wised up.
DeleteWe love your fill ins!
ReplyDeleteHave a super wonderful weekend...
Noodle and crew
Thanks, Noodle! So happy that you stopped by the Bayou!
DeleteWe'd never heard of a lantana bush before! We agree with funny bones NOT being funny, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! That's so great that you have your begonias until February.
ReplyDeleteYour fill-in for #3 is perfect. What a terrific answer!
Very pawty flowers!
ReplyDeleteWooftastic fill-ins!
