Pierre Westie: “It is a hilarious
story of Sullivan, a dog that lives with his humans in Utah. His mom came home
to see him on her lunchbreak and he was excited to spend time in the middle of
the day with her. He was running around and playing but when it was time for
her to return to work, Sullivan seemed to come down with a horrible cough. She
couldn’t take off to stay with him, so she called her husband who hurried home
to keep a watchful eye on their pup.
Comforted
by his dad, Sullivan’s cough disappeared as suddenly as it began. That is until
the next morning when the couple was getting ready for work. Dad stayed home
again and took the dog to see the vet. After a clean bill of health, it was
concluded the dog was faking his cough to get his people to stay home and
shower him with attention! They even got a second opinion and the conclusion is
Sullivan is not only healthy but a terrific actor.”

Bentley: “Our next story
should serve as a warning to all of our box-loving feline friends. A cat in
Italy decided to hop into a box and take a snooze unbeknownst to her owner who taped the box up and shipped it off to its destination.
It
was four long days before packaging handlers noticed that one of the boxes was
moving and decided to open it up. Imagine their surprise when the cat jumped
out! They immediately began looking for the cat’s owner who had been
searching for her best friend the entire time.
We
are happy to report that they have been reunited and other than being
dehydrated, the cat is perfectly healthy. Hopefully, she will stay out of
packing boxes in the future!

Pierre: “A stray dog in
Dallas had successfully eluded capture and apparently enjoyed his life on the lam.
He would run whenever someone would try to capture him. Rescuers were used to
seeing him and always tried to help to no avail. That is until one day when he led
them to a place outside of a local forest. They were stunned to see the stray had
taken them to a mother dog and her ten puppies.
The
stray allowed rescuers to bring him, the mommy dog and her family into the
shelter. Instead of being a stray, he now answers to the name Hero! News of the
puppies spread and there is a waiting list for all of them. Way to be awesome,
Hero!”
Bentley: “Our mom has written
another article that is appearing on 4Knines. November is Pet Cancer awareness
month, so she is sharing some very valuable information on the subject. It
would really be great if you could take a couple of minutes to read and comment
on the article for her.
Let’s
check in with our Weather Lab for this week’s forecast. Paisley, how’s it
looking out there?”
Paisley the Weather
Lab: “It
should be a great week for most of the country as far as the forecast looks. The
Pacific Northwest will have some scattered showers and across the northern
states it will be cool. There is a chance of snow mixed in with some of the
showers too. The New England area will be a bit warmer, so everyone needs to enjoy
it before the snows hit! Along the east coast, there’ll be late week showers. Most
of Florida can expect sunny and mild weather with some clouds. Here in the
south, it will be warm and breezy. As we look at the west coast, you can dress
for mild weather with some midweek rain. Across the center of the United States,
it will be mostly sunny with some showers around Tennessee.
As we all know, winter is just around the corner and it will bring snow and frigid
temperatures. You should get outside and soak up the fall weather while we have
it. Always keep an ear to your local stations for impending storms or warnings.
I hope your week is amazing!”
Bentley: “That wraps up this
week’s BFTB NETWoof news and weather. I hope that we put a smile on your face
today. Be sure and join us all week for new reviews, fun photos and some great
tips.
If
you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours. Now, go out and grab
yourself some happy!”

Sullivan is BRILLIANT!
ReplyDeleteGreat article that your mom wrote, guys!
Thank you so much, Molly!
DeleteOh my! Poor kitty! Our cat, Loki, used to love boxes too
ReplyDeleteMy cats used to love getting into brown paper grocery bags. (It was a long time ago!)
DeleteYou have some amazing stories! Sullivan is one smart pup! I've been wanting to ship cat bro Bert away in a box, now I have hope that a plan could work! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSullivan is quite the schemer! You know that you'd miss Bert if you shipped him away. Who would you blame things on if he was gone?
DeleteWow, dogs are so much smarter than we give them credit for, aren't they? Both Sullivan and Hero are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes suspect that Luke pretends to see stuff outside, or that he wants to go out when I'm eating so I'll leave my food unattended! He knows I'll go look (though I'm learning to put my food out of reach when I do that now!).
Jan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
They will try to fool you. Bentley goes to the backdoor and rings the bell then rolls over for a belly rub. LOL!
DeleteI shouldn't be, but always am surprised by how smart our furry family members are. I've been saying, for many years now, it is like having a toddler who never learns to speak. Crazy smart though! I'm glad to hear the kitty is safe and home so we can laugh at her story.... MOL! You wrote an excellent post for Canine Cancer Awareness!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Denise! Yes, our pets are smarter than they let on to us. LOL!
DeleteOhhhh Smart Doggie and crazy cat!
ReplyDeleteBlogger is hiding my post for today, not sure why
Hugs Madi your bfff
I'm glad that Blogger released your post! WTC?
DeleteThat Sullivan got us chuckling this morning. And we know cats that have gone home in visitors cars, but NOT packed up and sent through the mail. BOL!
ReplyDeleteSullivan is a scamp! We couldn't believe that the cat was shipped off in a box.
DeleteHow interesting about Sullivan! We did not hear about him on our Utah news stations proving you have the best news!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Thanks! We keep our nose to the grindstone and fetch some great stories.
DeleteBOL! Sullivan is a very clever dog!
ReplyDeletehugs
Hazel & Mabel
Too smart for his own good! A trip to the vet made him think twice about his act.
DeleteSullivan deserves an Academy award :)
ReplyDeleteHe really does! I hope the boys don't get any ideas. LOL!
DeleteOMD...Hero's story made Mama's heart so very happy! I'm glad we don't live in Texas anymore, or she would be on that waiting list for another puppy!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
Isn't that the sweetest story? I'm happy that mom and her puppies have a bright future thanks to Hero.
