"This is Paisley the Weather Lab reporting. Everyone will be watching tomorrow to see if Punxsutawney Phil can see his shadow. Will spring come early or are we in for six more weeks of winter?
All I can say is never plant your gardens on the word of a rodent."

I agree.... we have no groundhogs here but I never would trust someone who is no dog ;O)))
ReplyDeleteHow can a groundhog give a legitimate forecast when he is dragged out of his warm cozy burrow?
DeleteStupid fur ball. A dog should be there to greet him when he pops up, that would teach him! Rodents are getting way too much control from the humans.
ReplyDeletePierre totally volunteers to greet and eat good ol' Phil!
DeleteI haven't had nearly enough snow. He better not even THINK of predicting an early spring!
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get more cold weather this weekend.
DeleteWe'll get 4-6 more weeks of winter here in WNY no matter what the ground hog sees. We've had snow as late as Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very late snow! We are usually in the 90's by May! LOL!
DeleteI agree, no matter what, there is going to be 6 more weeks of winter.
ReplyDeleteI am really hoping for an early spring!
DeleteWe think you are probably right about that, Paisley! Plus we all know that no matter what that rodent says, winter is going to go on and on....at least up where we are!

Summer usually gets here only a few days after spring around here! LOL!
DeletePawsome advice Paisley.
ReplyDeleteRodents.....gggrowwlll.

I would dig him up and do a little "shadow-boxing" with ol' Phil! BOL!
DeleteA rodent that is usually wrong. BOL! Happy Groundhog's Day. It's the 2nd here, already!
ReplyDeleteWe don't put a lot of stock in his predictions.
DeleteGround hog....rodent....squirrel...no matter what you call them they are all a nuisance and trouble makers.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your
We agree 100% and they should all be chased!
DeleteYeah, what does a rodent know about weather????
ReplyDeleteExactly! I never trust a ground hog's opinion!
DeleteDat rodent better watch it.
ReplyDeleteYou and Pierre could easily take him!
Deleteok ground hog day drives me crazy because if you count ahead 6 weeks on the calendar, it is ALWAYS 6 weeks til spring!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! That makes it seem rather stupid, doesn't it?!?
DeleteHope the groundhog says spring!
ReplyDeleteWe are so ready for spring and flowers!
DeleteIt is almost like spring here already - it has been a weird winter
ReplyDeletehugs
Hazel & Mabel
It goes from warm to freezing here overnight. We want spring, sunshine, birds and flowers!
Deletegads, I don't like the ground hog! bad prediction.
ReplyDeleteBoy Paisley...you got THAT right. I mean, what self-respecting canine would ever trust a squirrel?
ReplyDeleteYour fur-iend,
Elsa🐾
P.S. Spring official arrives in 6 weeks anyway, no matter what that goofball rodent says.😁
