Bentley Basset Hound: “Let’s face it, most dogs dread taking a bath. Well, I am here today to hip you to a cool product from Burt’s Bees. Check this out…you take a bath without actually getting wet. I kid you not! They have gone and made a waterless shampoo for dogs. You can get it from our friends at Chewy.com which mean you can get it fast and for a grrrr-eat price. Hopefully, before the next time you roll in something you’re not supposed to.
Pierre and I enjoy exploring the trails in our neighborhood. We love walking and getting some exercise feels wonderful. The only problem is Mom sometimes accuses me of smelling rather doggy. I’m sure that she means my masculine aroma of Hound Dog #7. It’s a compliment, right?
When we got home from our walk yesterday, she took me in the backyard and began spraying me with Burt’s Bees Waterless Shampoo. The smell was pleasant which is really important to a dog’s sensitive nose. This is the simplest shampoo ever!
You start spraying right behind the ears and continue to the tail. Then you let it dry. Seriously, how can it get any easier? To clean our face and ears, the directions are to apply it to a towel and wipe on to avoid getting it in our eyes. Mom has special wipes for my face, so we used those instead.
Burt’s Bees Waterless Shampoo is made with apples to nourish the skin and honey for a shine boost. It is pH balanced and contains no sulfates, fragrances or colorants. As a matter of fact, it’s 99.7% natural. My coat feels awesome after my bath and best of all, IT WAS WATERLESS!!!
Take my word for it, you want your people to visit Chewy.com and order a bottle. It is only $3.99 which is a $6.00 savings! We give it all our paws and Mom's thumbs up. Psssst...there is also a formula for cats!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Molly! We love getting a bath without actually getting a bath! BOL!
DeleteWe've had Burts Bees wipes before and they were nice, gentle, and not to heavily scented. Stay clean and avoid that bath thing however you can.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are big fans of Burt's Bees pet and human products!
DeleteI have always been a huge Burts Bees fan for human products, I had no idea that they branched into pet products. Looks like a great product to try out. Thanks for the thorough review Bentley.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Animals
They have amazing products for humans AND pets!
DeleteWe've always liked Burt's Bees products because of the light, mild scents. (Ghostwriter is terribly allergic to highly scented products.)
ReplyDeleteThis shampoo would be great! It has very little smell which is wonderful for Bentley's sensitive nose too.
DeleteHey, us cats don't like baths either!
ReplyDeleteThere just so happens to be a formula for cats too!
DeleteWe really like this brand, and this sounds like a good option since the human here is too lazy to give baths as often as she should (which is OK with Luke, but still....). :)
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
It is perfect for a quick clean up!
DeleteWaterless?? Oh yes, please.
ReplyDeleteYour fur-iend,
