One of the most common complaints I hear from pet parents is how much their dogs hate getting their teeth brushed. It can be a challenge but with some patience and a regular routine, your dog should become more accepting of this important part of dental hygiene.
While nothing can take the place of brushing, there are ways to help keep those puppy dog kisses sweet for a lifetime. The Bayou Boys LOVE Greenies™ dental treats and our favorite place to get them is from our friends at Chewy.
Did you know that Greenies were invented by a couple trying to cure their own dog’s horrible breath? It’s true. Joe and Judy Roetheli had searched for something to combat their family dog Ivan’s stinky mouth but nothing worked. Joe decided if he couldn’t find what he needed, he’d make his own and Greenies were born! The original recipe and shape have remained the same since 1996.

How Greenies Work
Greenies work like a toothbrush by scrapping the surface of the tooth and help brush away plaque and tartar. The flexible texture allows your dog to sink their teeth into the chew all the way up to the gumline. With regular use, Greenies can help make your dog’s teeth and gums healthier. That’s important to ensure years of fresh puppy dog kisses.
You can fetch these yummy dental treats in several sizes, a grain-free formula and several varieties for our feline friends! Check with Chewy for all things Greenies, great savings, and speedy delivery.

ReplyDeleteGreenies are one of the treats that mom won't let me have. She says that I don't chew it and I inhale it too fast for it to do anything effective. She's such a meanie!
ReplyDeleteIf you think it's hard to brush a dog's teeth...try brushing a cat's! No way!
ReplyDeleteWe love our greenies!! Rosy is the only one in the pack that actually LIKES getting her teefies brushed! She waits for Mama to finish brushing and then she knows it's her turn!

ReplyDeleteGreenies are a great aid for keeping the teeth clean. We like them too, but Mom says we eat them too fast for them to do any good for our teeth:(

Luke doesn't do well with long-lasting treats - he's in too much of a rush! I give him a carrot stick every day to help clean his teeth. Being just an only dog now, he might do better though so we might just try something like this again for a change.
