Weekend Fun for Everyone

Today, we are joining 15 and Meowing along with Four-Legged Furballs for Friendly Fill-Ins. Be sure to hop over and visit everyone participating.
• I deserve a gold star for washing, drying, and putting up laundry today.
• Right now, I am loving spending time with our granddaughter.
• The best advice I’ve ever been given is to give your worries to God. He will be awake all night anyway.
• If I had to choose a new first name, it would (still) be Melissa because I love my name.
Flower Friday is hosted by the adorable Rosy from
This week we are looking back at some of our favorite flower photos.

This is the last Pet Parade for our host and good friend Leah Mastilock. She is taking a blogging break to do life with her beautiful family. I can’t thank her enough for inviting me to be a part of this fun blog hop. Have a wonderful break and keep in touch, Leah.
Next week, Kathrine and I are excited to announce that our new co-host will be Marjorie and the Dash Kitten Crew! They are joining from New Zealand, Bionic Basil is in the U.K. and we are in Texas so I guess that makes us a worldwide blog hop. We are hoping to move to Wednesday and fetch our Wordless/Wordy pet friends that miss a mid-week hop.
As you can tell from today’s post, there are a lot of Friday hops to join. We hope that you continue to enjoy the Pet Parade and hop aboard!

  1. yes the earth laughs in flowers!!! specially in this wonderful orange one ;O) the mama would change her name immeowdiately... her mama and the mama of her friend elizabeth thought to name their kids after famous queens makes them to queens automatically... but that was wishful thinking... they both have no palace nor a crown by now...

  2. I think we are all going to be floundering for a while with the whole BlogPaws thing. It's like it was taken, ruined and returned. Eventually, we will all find the new normal for blogging, at least we hope so. Have a great weekend and love the bee on the flower.

  3. I love your 3rd fill is powerful.
Lovely posies today and I agree with you I love my first name too, and would not change it.
Hugs madi and Cecilia aka Mom

  4. The flowers are lovely, especially the colour of the last one.

  5. Pawsome blossoms! Here's to spending more time with your adorable grand baby.

  6. Lovely flowers shared with us today!!!

Mom loves the name Melissa too and dreamed of one day having twin girls that she would name Melissa and Marissa:)

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  7. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That does deserve a gold star, especially in this heat. I love your second answer, so sweet. Have a nice weekend! XO

  8. We are happy that God is awake all night. I guess that’s why we feel Him watching over us while we sleep.....

    Love and licks,

  9. Very cool, Melissa. I like the advise to give care to God.

  10. Pawfectly beautiful.

    Nose nudges,
    CEO Olivia

  11. Great fill ins! Our Female Human always tells us to put our paws together and pray when there are worries. We were worried about our Tribe mate Jasmine this week as she was really sick and God took care of her.

Lily & The Tribe of Five

  12. We love your fill in responses...and those pretty flowers!

  13. It's always sad when a blogger has to take time off - our loss - but we can understand needing to live life - their gain.
Laundry! It can be so much work, even when there's only two of you (plus some pets) in the household!

  14. We love your answers ! Beautiful flowers ! Purrs

  15. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #3 is wonderful. My parents used to give me advice like that all the time. I was a very anxious student in school, always wanting perfect grades. When I would fret over a test or project, or anything else, my parents would tell me to stay calm and to give my worries to God. That advice stuck with me so much, that it was the basis for the speech I had to give at my graduation. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  16. Your flower photos are beautiful. :)

Your best advice is absolutely the best advice!

How blessed you are to have a grand-daughter. :)

    Have a blessed week.

I'd love to hear from you! Bark back!
