Pierre:
“It
snowed! It really, really snowed! Let’s build a snowman, run zoomies, and have a
snowball fight! I am so stoked!"
Bentley:
“It’s
easy for you to be excited, your legs are longer than mine. I’m having to do my
business under the snow. It’s true what they say; there’s no business like snow
business! Let’s skip the snowball part and just fight."
Bentley:
“That
would imply you have a brain. Lemme see in that head! BOL!”
Bentley:
“Let’s
call a truce. I’m ready to do some serious snow zoomies!”
Pierre:
“No
fair! We didn’t say ready, set, go!”
Bentley:
“You
should be glad I have my anti-lock brakes on!”
Bentley:
“Snow’s
not bad but some beef flavoring would go a long way in improving the taste. Tomorrow
morning our yard will be an entirely different game. This snow and slush is
going to turn into ice tonight. It is going to be 13°F in the morning. Brrr!
Our city is once again shut down.”

Yay - you got snow! Isn't it the most funnest ever! Enjoy the snow while it lasts because ice is NO FUN!
ReplyDeleteWe had so much fun in it but it sure is cold! The temperatures dropped to 11 degrees this morning which broke a 20 year record.
DeleteLooks like you had fun guys!
ReplyDeleteIt is rare so that makes it lots of fun. It was gone by this afternoon.
DeleteEnjoy the winter while you have it. If it helps, going all the way up to 13 would be a heat wave for us right now and I think today we might even pass that. With your warm temps, your snow should be good for building a snowman. Maybe give that a try.
ReplyDeleteI seriously don't see how you survive in those low temps. It is bitter and hurts my face. LOL! It dropped to 11 which broke a 20 year record.
Deleteoh yes lets build a snowman... a yellow one!!!! and hugs to all car drivers of the bayou who have to deal with snow much fun...
ReplyDeleteThat yellow snow stuff is REAL! It also melts little holes in the snow. BOL! BOL!
DeleteOMCs...snow in the Bayou!! Good thing you have a blog and can document this most momentous event. Oh Bentley and Pierre I hope your didn't get frost bite on your undercarriage.
ReplyDeleteWe are waitin' and watchin' for it to arrive here. Evidently our mountains slowed it down a bit. At first they said we'd have it a wake up but we are awake and still waiting
Hugs madi and mom
We were very skeptical because we've been burned by false snow alarms before! It was beautiful and fun but I was happy to see it go this afternoon. I'm not a fan of cold weather and it was frigid here. Stay warm. This is a super arctic blast!
Deletegreat pictures of the boys!! It's snowing in NYC right now!!
ReplyDeleteIt snowed all night and into the early morning but the arctic cold was unreal. We don't do 11 degrees down here. Hahah!
DeleteWow,that is really cold for you guys! Glad you had some fun in the snow...that ice will definitely be no fun at all. But we're sure it will melt quickly.
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
It was super cold. The problem is we don't have clothes for these temperatures. I only have a few sweatshirts but lots of tee shirts. LOL!
DeleteBOL! Pierre's legs are longer! Have fun in the fresh snow while you can.
ReplyDeleteWe really did enjoy it.
DeleteIt looks like you had fun time in the snow ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteI was fun and we make cool tracks in the yard!
DeleteThe snow part must be fun...the shut-down not so much. Hope your temps are back to reasonable soon.
ReplyDeleteWe seriously have a couple of sand trucks, some trucks that pour brine on the roads and that's about it. Snow is such an event here and nobody knows how to drive in it.
DeleteLooks like you had a great time in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThey really enjoyed it. I don't think they liked being cold though because they wanted back indoors after about 10 minutes.
DeleteIt was fun even though it wasn't very deep. We are kinda short guys.
Delete
ReplyDeleteit is so strange that you are colder than we are! looks like you enjoyed the snow!
hugs

I was surprised how fast they could run in the snow! It was hilarious.
DeleteYou boys look like you are having fun in the snow. Snow zoomies are the most fun.

ReplyDeleteLove & biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
It was so beautiful too. The ice on the bridges and overpasses is why everything shut down. We simply can't drive in it. LOL!
DeleteThat is cold for your part of the country.
ReplyDeleteIt is incredibly cold for us. We are not equipped to deal with this type of weather.
DeleteI heard on the news you got snow, how fun for your gang, you can keep it, lol
