The Blizzard on the Bayou 2018

Pierre: “It snowed! It really, really snowed! Let’s build a snowman, run zoomies, and have a snowball fight! I am so stoked!"
Bentley: “It’s easy for you to be excited, your legs are longer than mine. I’m having to do my business under the snow. It’s true what they say; there’s no business like snow business! Let’s skip the snowball part and just fight."

Pierre: “Your ears are so cold. I hope I don’t get brain freeze from biting them!”
Bentley: “That would imply you have a brain. Lemme see in that head! BOL!”
Bentley: “Let’s call a truce. I’m ready to do some serious snow zoomies!”

Pierre: “No fair! We didn’t say ready, set, go!”

Bentley: “You should be glad I have my anti-lock brakes on!”

Bentley: “Snow’s not bad but some beef flavoring would go a long way in improving the taste. Tomorrow morning our yard will be an entirely different game. This snow and slush is going to turn into ice tonight. It is going to be 13°F in the morning. Brrr! Our city is once again shut down.”

  3. Enjoy the winter while you have it. If it helps, going all the way up to 13 would be a heat wave for us right now and I think today we might even pass that. With your warm temps, your snow should be good for building a snowman. Maybe give that a try.

  5. OMCs...snow in the Bayou!! Good thing you have a blog and can document this most momentous event. Oh Bentley and Pierre I hope your didn't get frost bite on your undercarriage.
We are waitin' and watchin' for it to arrive here. Evidently our mountains slowed it down a bit. At first they said we'd have it a wake up but we are awake and still waiting

    1. We were very skeptical because we've been burned by false snow alarms before! It was beautiful and fun but I was happy to see it go this afternoon. I'm not a fan of cold weather and it was frigid here. Stay warm. This is a super arctic blast!

    1. We seriously have a couple of sand trucks, some trucks that pour brine on the roads and that's about it. Snow is such an event here and nobody knows how to drive in it.

    1. They really enjoyed it. I don't think they liked being cold though because they wanted back indoors after about 10 minutes.
