5 Signs Your Dog is the Boss

Today is National Boss’s Day and since we are retired, we don’t have any bosses. That’s right, we don’t have to answer to anyone…or do we?
The Bayou Boys certainly have a lot of the characteristics of a boss. Let’s see if your dog or cat could actually be your boss too.
5 Signs Your Dog is the Boss

• They are the reason you wake up really early every morning.
• You are always picking up after them and left holding the bag!
• If you have to leave, you feel the need to explain where you are going and when you will be back.
• They can give you “the look” and you know your plans are about to change no matter how much other work you have to do.
• You spend most of your time making sure they are happy.
🐶We all know they are our real bosses so be sure to give them an extra treat and scratch! 🐱

Catchin' Up

Hey y’all,
Pierre and I have been discussing what kind of topics we should cover since we are only blogging one day a week. We will still have some reviews and helpful dog tips, but we thought it might be fun to have a week where we tell you what is happening in our lives.
We finally have some cooler weather, so it’s been nice lounging out in our backyard. Mom and Dad laugh at us because I will lay in the direct sun and bake for an hour. Pierre tries so hard to do the same but he simply can’t handle the heat. He also has a hard time being still when he is outdoors.

BFTB NETWoof News October 2019

Bentley Basset Hound: “Hello and welcome to our new BFTB NETWoof News format. We are now a monthly news post and look forward to continuing fetching the best feel-good stories from around the world.
One of the major changes in our programming will be with our cousin, Paisley the Weather Lab extraordinaire. It is difficult to forecast the weather a week in advance, we feel it would not be reliable to report for an entire month. Since Paisley is an important part of our team, we are moving her to a new position. I’ll let her explain later in the news report. In the meantime, let’s toss it over to Pierre for our top story.”

Pierre Westie: “This one brought a smile to my face and I’m sure it will yours too. Leon the stray kitten was just looking for a dry place after a heavy downpour when he wandered into the office of the OAB. That’s the Brazilian version of the American Bar Association (lawyers).
