It's Flu Season for Dogs Too

The flu season is not just having an impact on humans. The canine flu is also making its rounds. Although it's not to the epidemic stage the human flu is, it is still a good idea to take precautions with our dogs.

We shared info about Dr. Harvey's Solaris that we're using to help boost Bentley & Pierre's immunity so feel free to refer to that post for information and a discount code.
I appreciate PetPlan Insurance sharing this graphic and information with us. Dr. Ernie Ward is on PetPlan's advisory board and has written a blog post about canine influenza that you can read here.

I use Quick Bath to wipe the boys off after going out in public and to keep them fresh smelling between baths. Check out my review of these great wipes!

  1. I hope that evil flu big will stay away from all peeps and pets... and I hope with spring all that annoying winter trouble will disappear

  2. The flu has just been awful this year and we are all going crazy with the antibac stuff! Trying to be extra careful that we don't come down with this terrible sickness. Hope you all are staying healthy and things are running smoothly for you!

  3. We are taking lots of healthy walks and breathing nice fresh Aire and staying away from sick peeps!

  4. Since both Bailie and Madison have brought home the flu in past winters, we are extra careful. Our blog is broken right now. Maybe it has the blog flu. I wonder if that is a thing?

  5. I just read this week about confirmed cases of flu in Oregon. It scares me and am glad neither of the poodles particularly like or enjoy the nearby dog park. Great graphic. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Fantastic info-graphic, thanks for sharing! I'm shocked to learn that an infected dog can be contagious for 21 days -yikes! I'm sharing this.

  10. Great post, I didn't know dogs could get the flu.

  11. One good thing about being homebodies is we don't get exposed to as many germs!
