Bentley
Basset Hound: “Hey
there! We went for a walk the other day and Mom was snapping pictures with her
phone. Here are some of them.”
Pierre
Westie: “Come
look at these teeny-tiny little flowers. They are micro-flowers!”
I have no idea what
these flowers are, but they are so cute. Each little flower was perfect.
Amazing.
These white flowers
are even smaller than the purple ones! The gardens are blooming so we will take
the camera on our next walk.
Pierre:
“We
were walking around the school minding our own business when guess what
happened! A HUGE Texas sized squirrel came running right past me. I immediately
went into terrier-ist mode. It scurried up this tree and tried to hide from me.
I’m sure I’d have eventually caught it but a certain Basset Hound complained
about my shrill barking.”
Bentley:
“That
boy has boundless energy. I’m ready for our water bowl and the air conditioner.
Thank goodness for my ramp so I can climb right into our car kennel. Y'all have a great weekend!”

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your walks boys. We hear a lot about Houston right now since we were playing you in baseball, and now we have some basketball manager that we stole from Houston. Kind of funny since you had sports in your post earlier this week.
ReplyDeleteStoopid squirrel! I know you would have caught him if given the chance, Pierre! Your flowers are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have tried many times to follow squirrels up the trees. Turns out doggies don't usually climb trees. But wouldn't it be great if we could! There's all kinds of good stuff up there!
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
Bentley and Pierre,
ReplyDeleteYour nice leisurely walk was interrupted by a brazen tree rodent! He obviously doesn't know the Terror he faces!! Lovely flowers
Hugs Cecilia
What a lovely day for a walk!
ReplyDeleteHey y'all, can you send some warms to us up North? It's too brrr...
ReplyDeleteIf they didn't have those bushy tails, humans would see that they were evil rats, not furry cuties. When will humans listen to us?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fabulous walk. We think the squirrel was just the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteWe try our darndest to get those squirrels too, Pierre. But they are so fast and much more skilled at tree climbing than we are.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers and a nice walk - that's just a great way to start the weekend.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
What a fun and lovely walk, boys! We'll look forward to seeing more of what your new neighborhood gardens look like! Have a great weekend. ♥

Ghostwriter remembers a long time ago, before everyone started using lawn chemicals, there were lots of different little tiny flowers that would grow among the grass. She especially loved the violets, and clover. We have no idea what your teeny tiny flowers are, but it's nice to see them.
ReplyDeleteSuch adorably cute teeny flowers. Sorry you missed teaching that TEXAS sized tree rat a thing or two. Maybe you'll get the jump on him some other time when you're out and about. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou’ll get the squirrel next time, buddy!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice stroll, Bentley and Pierre! We liked seeing those micro-flowers, and you boys having a good time. Better luck next time with that squirrel!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice walk you boys had. Watch out for those squirrels, Pierre, we think they are evil!
ReplyDeleteThat boy has boundless energy.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you were able to get out for a walk, we keep hearing about all the rain in Texas and we've been thinking about you. Hoping you stayed safe & dry out there. Pierre I'm sure you would have caught the giant tree rat if not for Bentley's complaining - Sheeesh!
