This weekend is the annual Barksdale Air Force Base Defenders of Liberty Air Show in Bossier City, LA. It was held for the first time in 1933. The Open House highlights the fantastic home of the B-52. A two-day event features the latest in military planes. You can also see historical and civilian aircrafts. The base is open to the public to tour, meet the brave pilots, and enjoy incredible aerobatic performers.
The highlight of the show was the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. The skill and precision they fly is breathtaking. There were also skydiving exhibitions and a dozen other talented pilots taking to the air. You can click here to see the line-up of performers.
