Meet Dr. Harvey's ~ A BlogPaws Conference Sponsor

There are so many things that I love about BlogPaws Conferences.  One of my favorites is the chance to meet and talk with the incredible brand sponsors.  You can see the list of the brands that will be sponsoring this year’s conference in Nashville by clicking here.  I'll be introducing you to the sponsors that I work with and those I am looking forward to networking with at the conference.

Both of these foods are easy and the boys ♥ them!
I am so excited to meet the friendly people from the family-owned Dr. Harvey’s in person!  It has been my pleasure to get to know them over the past few months through social media and letters.  Bentley and Pierre are even more eager to shake paws with them.  We have shared our reviews of a few of their tasty products, but today I’d like to share the Dr. Harvey’s story.

The first thing that you need to know is that Dr. Harvey is a real person.  If
Dr. Harvey makes terrific holistic products.
you’re lucky, you can attend one of the speeches that he is constantly in demand to present.  It wasn’t always that way for Dr. Harvey Cohen, a noted nutritionist and lifelong animal lover.  Thirty years ago, “all-natural” was not considered for humans very often and certainly not for our companion animals.
Yet, Dr. Harvey knew that something wasn’t working in the pet food industry.  Animals were getting sick from dangerous preservatives, chemicals, and coloring agents.  That’s when Dr. Harvey suggested that the foods we feed our pets are key to their health.  Even after
"It is very hard to wait for this dinner." claims Bentley.
thirty years, chemically laden food and inferior ingredients are the #1 reason for the rise in degenerative diseases.
The good news for our pets is that Dr. Harvey stood strong in his belief.  When a natural, healthy, preservative-free, and chemical-free diet could not be found, he created it.  The initial result was his Canine Health or as many customers call it, "The Miracle Dog Food."  He began getting letters from customers telling him that their pets’ health and wellness had transformed with this new way of feeding.
Voted three of the Bayou Boys favorite treats!
After this many years, the original belief of Dr. Harvey’s is still the same.  Our pets deserve the very best.  That is the reason they never use pet grade ingredients.  You’ll never find anything artificial in a single Dr. Harvey’s product.  To make sure that you understand each ingredient used, they have a dictionary of terms on their website.  I love knowing that the products I use and the food that I feed Bentley and Pierre are made with loving care to the highest standards.
You have the chance to chat live with Dr. Harvey’s tonight, Tuesday April 28th on this week’s BlogPaws Twitter Chat.  We will be chatting 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. CST.  It’s easy to join in the fun.  Follow #BlogPawsChat to meet friends, bloggers, pet parents, and Dr. Harvey’s.  Be sure to follow @BlogPaws @drharvey and @mk_clinton.  I hope to see you online tonight!

We are also joining Dogs n’ Pawz and Talking Dogs for Tuesday’s Tails.  These sweet dogs are available for adoption at the Humane Society of NW Louisiana.  I made the cool flyers with my new Pose-A-Pet app.  Learn more about Pose-A-Pet here.  Thank you for sharing.

  4. Why my Lee takes a Q10 supplement now I see they have them for me. We like all natural here. We don't like genetically modified foods. The products sound like they should be good for me.
We have had no dog flu in my Nati City yet. Getting my hurts checked often since the 17th we have asked every time at the vet and she has not seen a case yet.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing me well

  5. Funny, Mom and I were just making a list of the sponsors/people we need to connect with this year. Mom never made the list before and we may have missed some, so this year we are getting prepared. Each year, she learns to be more efficient.

  16. This was a powerful post, Melissa, thank you. I was disappointed to miss Dr. Harvey's chat w/ BlogPaws last night, I just couldn't make it. I admire his determination for so many years on fighting to bring Natural to pet food. With so many scary recalls over the last couple of years and mystery around what some pet food companies are putting into their food natural pet food has become an appealing trend.

  17. What a great idea to use the Pose A Pet app to share your adoptable pets today!
I wasn't able to make the chat last night, but I hope I get a chance to talk to Dr. Harvey's at BlogPaws....they sound like such a wonderful company.
