Bentley
and Pierre recently discovered some Scottish Highland cows so they decided to
try their paws at a round-up. Don’t worry; all the cattle dogs’ jobs are safe!
The boys didn’t quite grasp the concept of herding. They are not at home on the range!
We are joining our BlogPaws™ friends for
Wordless Wednesday's blog hop.
My mom loves cows and those are her favorite kind! She was in Ireland one time, eons ago when she was a "stewardess", and went out for a run on a country road where she was chased by a bunch of them. Not sure how she escaped, but she still loves them!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! My doggies love cows too!! But we haven't spotted these types of cows yet!!
ReplyDeleteLove x
very cool guys, be careful
ReplyDeleteBOL!! You guys are too much! Not sure if the Goldens have ever seen a cow of any kind! lol
ReplyDeleteOh be careful, I see sum sharp pointy horns there!

we were watching a movie that had the Scottish cows in them or Highland cattle as they are called
ReplyDeleteUmmmmmmm Bentley... we are not sure about that Red Cape thingy... Just be sure Pierre doesn't start barkin.... TORO TORO TORO... Just sayin.
ReplyDelete...oh wait a minute... you furst need such a wooden thingy what you can use as a hiding place in case they really run to you :o)
ReplyDeleteBOL Bentley, I do not think you need a red cape to herd cattle! Of course, with mad-barking Terrier Pierre there, I am surprised the cattle are still around. :-O
ReplyDeleteWow, those are fun looking cows! Look like yaks to me. BOL. I'm impressed that you gave herding a try and I wish I had been there to join in. We could have co-barked them into submission. BOL. Hmmmmm, now I'm craving steaks.

I love it when dogs try out other working dog jobs. Although this could be a little dangerous
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!!
ReplyDeleteI bet the cows thought it was very entertaining to see Pierre and Bentley out there. :) So funny!

BOL!!!! OMD, RUN!!!! I don't trust the one with the Donald Trump hair....

Bentley the Matador! What talent. SHE loves Highland cattle...their shagginess. SHE did meet a couple in the furs. We'd love to have them. Sometimes Dui chases the sheep, but that's a real no-no here, so he has to stay on the lead when we get near a sheep paddock.
ReplyDeleteMight need to get some tips from the herding doggies.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
This is all great practice for the Running of the Bulls Festival, lol! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou better be careful, Bentley! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL what fun. Love those fuzzy cows.
ReplyDeleteCareful ! those cows have horns!!

We hope you don't get run over by any of those cows.
ReplyDeleteOh this is awesome - Walter once got loose and chased cows through an entire pasture with my husband chasing after him. It's funny now but not so much when it happened.... :)
ReplyDeleteLove cows. Those are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou boys are so silly!!! :)
