Bentley: “Pierre, guess what day it is.”
Pierre: “Is it my birthday? Will there be cake? Woo hoo, I am so excited for my party!”
Bentley: “Chill out, dude. It is NOT your birthday and I haven’t smelled any cake so that is not looking too promising either.”
Bentley: “February 8th is National Kite Flying Day! That gave me a super fun idea and you are going to love it.”
Pierre: “I somehow doubt that. Where did you get this ginormous kite?”
Bentley: “Isn’t it the best? I call it my Westie Windy Kite. Now, all you have to do is hang on and run as fast as you can until you lift off the ground. Don't worry; I will hang onto the string. This is going to be epic!”
Pierre: “Wow! You're right, this is amazing. I feel like an eagle up here!"
Bentley: “I knew that you’d love it. Now, we just need to work on your landing…”

lol. Pawesome pics. (When we lived in Bermuda, national kite flying day was Good Friday - everyone would make their own kites and fly them in the parks and beaches. So pretty!)
ReplyDeleteWow Pierre, that looks like FUN!! Thank goodness you have a brother you can trust not to let go at the other end of the string!

That's hilarious! You are a real whiz with computer tools. Bentley really looks like he's flying that kite! Although, he is a darn smart dog. I'll bet he could learn how to do that IRL with enough coaching!

ReplyDeleteIt certainly has been windy enough this week to fly a kite! Don't tell Elsa though, otherwise she'll try to drag me down the street trying to launch me as her kite!
