Dear Santa, In Case You Were Watching...

Dear Santa Paws,

   We have been great…very…pretty good this year. As Pierre and I reminisced about 2017, we discovered a lot few things that might need to be explained. Just in case you were watching and misunderstood.

   Pierre dug a huge hole in the backyard trying to catch a mole. In case you were watching, he was actually trying to introduce himself to the chief rodent in hopes of helping them in a relocation plan. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, you know. #PierreIsAGoodBoy

   In case you were watching, it may have appeared that I helped myself to a bag of treats when the laundry room door was left ajar. In my defense, these treats upset Pierre’s tummy. The best way to keep him from another adverse reaction was to get rid of the offending chew. #BentleySavedPierre

    You might have seen Pierre chasing squirrels. In case you were watching, this is his way of making sure they are getting plenty of cardio exercise. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but there are a lot of fat tree rats squirrels around here. He is doing his best to get them in shape so please don’t leave them any chocolate covered acorns. We even built this squirrel stand squirrel relief center, so it’ll be easier to catch them they have a place to gather. #PierreSavesTheSquirrels

   This last thing is kind of embarrassing but in case you were watching, there is a perfectly logical explanation. Mom decided to put the swinging top on her office garbage can. As a scent hound, I was confident that I detected a delicious dangerous substance inside the can. It was up to me to save the family by removing the empty chip bag deadly object. #BentleyIsAHero

   We are looking forward to your visit in a few days. If you have any other questions, we have plenty of excuses reasons for our actions. Pierre and I believe this should explain anything that you might have misconstrued as being naughty just in case you were watching.
