A Letter To Santa

Dear Santa,
We thought it would be a great idea if we wrote our Christmas letter and got it in the mail before your busiest night. How are the reindeer doing? Hopefully, they are ready to make the big trip to deliver all of the presents to the good children, dogs, and cats in the world. We will leave some extra carrots for them along with your cookies and milk.

Dear Santa Paws,
We hope that you had a terrier-ific year. Pierre and I have tried to be good boys since your last visit. You do know that we moved to Texas, right? We wouldn’t want you going to the wrong house!

Christmas Memories and Traditions

We are joining our friends in Blogville to share our family Christmas traditions. I’ve been thinking back to the days when our kids were young. It really was the most wonderful time of the year. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or spirits and let me tell you about Christmas on the Bayou.
Our home decorated for Christmas
When our children were young, we loved to have Christmas decorations both inside and out. Skipper decorated the house with over 5,000 lights. Our home was beautiful and drew quite a crowd of light lookers!

Dear Santa, In Case You Were Watching...

Dear Santa Paws,
We have been greatvery…pretty good this year. As Pierre and I reminisced about 2017, we discovered a lot few things that might need to be explained. Just in case you were watching and misunderstood.
Pierre dug a huge hole in the backyard trying to catch a mole. In case you were watching, he was actually trying to introduce himself to the chief rodent in hopes of helping them in a relocation plan. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, you know. #PierreIsAGoodBoy

T’is the season to celebrate the holidays and we all have the picture perfect celebration in our minds. Of course, more often than not, something happens and the Norman Rockwell image goes out the window. You can visit YouTube for endless videos of trees crashing, presents being shredded and turkey stealing dogs. Take it from me, over the years those become the treasured memories that provide the laughter and love.
Most of us consider our dogs, cats, and other pets family and include them in the holiday festivities. The trick is to make sure they don’t start hating the whole Christmas season.
Here are 7 things to remember to keep the

A Visit from Santa Paws

Bentley and Pierre had a wonderful Christmas! They took part in the Blogville Christmas gift exchange for the first time this year. Bentley received his gifts from MyLife with Scotties’ Jacque. Pierre’s presents came from a fellow Westie named Duncan who you can find on The White Dog Blog. Both of them were thrilled with their goodies!
