Have you ever thought about feeding your dog a raw diet? The popularity of the “Raw Revolution” has made a huge impact on the way many people feed their dogs and cats. After researching the subject, I gradually made the switch. Bentley and Pierre have been on a raw diet for over half a year and are doing fantastic. Both of them have more energy, are in their ideal weight range, and have healthier coats.

Would you like to try raw feeding but are still a bit squeamish serving raw meat to your dogs? It’s understandable, but I am here with a solution. Instinct® Raw Boost® Mixers make it easy to #mixitup and serve your dogs raw meals without the mess. They will think you're awesome.
Raw Boost Mixers are freeze-dried, all-natural, and grain free nuggets of protein. You can create some excitement to mealtime by using them as a topper on kibble or canned food. Your dog will love the protein-packed raw addition to their regular meal. I use them with a dehydrated pre-mix. All I do is add hot water to my pre-mix, wait the allotted time, add either fish or coconut oil and mix it up with Instinct Raw Boost Mixers. The result is my dogs are eating great food that I feel great about serving.
Instinct Raw Boost Mixers Provide:
· Pure animal protein for lean muscles and strong bones
· Natural ingredients for optimal nutrient absorption
· Nutritious oils for healthy skin and coat
My dogs get so excited when they see the bag of Raw Boost Mixers. Between the whining and drooling, there is no question that it is a favorite. Since Bentley and Pierre eat different amounts of Mixers, I measure each serving separately according to the package. The first three ingredients on the beef formula are beef, beef liver, and beef kidney. That will have any dog licking their lips. Raw Boost also includes carrots, apples, and butternut squash. All of their raw diets go through high-pressure processing as part of the strict quality control procedures. Instinct Pet Foods provides answers to your safety questions and a wealth of information about raw feeding.
I am thrilled to be able to purchase Raw Boost Mixers at my local PetSmart®. You can select from chicken, beef, turkey, or lamb formulas so it’s simple to rotate the proteins. My dogs love the beef so we get it in the 14 oz. bag, but I buy a few of the trial size bags for variety. We like to mix it up on the Bayou! You can read about our fun PetSmart adventure in the Instinct Raw Boost Makes Raw Feeding Easy post.
Now, here is some exciting news; PetSmart has the 14 oz. bags for 20% off and the trial size bags are 3 for $5.00 until January 31st. That gives me another terrific excuse to take Bentley and Pierre for more PetSmart retail shopping therapy!

IT is so easy and my boys love them. I am going to buy more while they are on sale!
DeleteWe love raw food. we eat chicken necks, legs, kangaroo, but we do have cooked chicken gizzards. We eat it with a good grain-free kibble. So Yay, for raw food!
ReplyDeleteThe crew loves these so we are going to continue to add some to at least some of their meals! I might even try the cat ones at some point.

We've tried the cat version of these and really like them. The mom crumbles a few up and mixes it in our wet food.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great way to mix it up!
DeleteI have thought about raw food because of Cocoa's tummy but am concerned about getting the right amount of all the vitamins she needs. This makes it good to not worry as much.
ReplyDeleteNo worries at all! The amount you need to feed according to Cocoa's weight is written right on the bag. ☺
DeleteLove the way you prepared the meal with Raw Boost Mixers! You guys really mixed it up! :) Happy says he wants it like that next time! <3
ReplyDeleteIt is very simple and nutritious! Happy would be...well, happy to mix it up this way. ☺
DeleteI've been reading your series on these raw meal enhancers and and glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks they're awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour write up inspired us.... so guess what? Momma is gonna buy this today when we go to da store! We're excited to try the raw meal enhances - and thanks for dropping hints to my momma...sometimes she's a little slow on da uptake of what I want! :)

ReplyDeleteI love this idea as a way to introduce Henrietta to raw because as you mentioned, I am squeamish about "actual" raw. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it is all of the benefits of raw without the mess. I'm sure that Henrietta will gobble it up too.
DeleteWe're just a teesny bit (guardedly) excited over here. You know how Maxie was hard-core dry kibble boy for 5 years then suddenly switched to canned (ahem - without TELLING us)? I caught him licking Allie's raw food the other day!!! This is a great way to begin encouraging a transition!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so handsome and these look so yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteI know my dogs really love freeze dried raw food. This would turn every dinner into a gourmet meal for them.
ReplyDeleteWow! They sure do look excited for their dinner!

ReplyDeleteI completely understand and that is why I love these Mixers.
DeleteHow do you get Bentley to sit up like that! Shermie can do it for a second but Bentley looks so comfortable! Love these raw supplements and must try them.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine! Bentley has been sitting that way since he was a puppy. We didn't teach him, it is just how he likes to sit. LOL! He sits like that next to my desk making work very difficult. Your dog will love the Raw Boost Mixers.
DeleteLooks like somebody really likes their Instinct Raw Boost Mixers. Truffle and Brulee like the cat version!
ReplyDeleteThese boosters look really yummy!
