Do you work with or know a rescue/shelter that has pets waiting to be adopted but are in need of veterinary care? The cost of treatment is one of the biggest hardships these wonderful organizations face. That is where our friends at 1-800-PetMeds Cares becomes their hero.
Change a Pet’s Life Day began in 2009 to encourage pet adoption and bring attention to the many homeless pets in the USA. The big day takes place each year on January 24th. 1-800-PetMeds Cares™ introduced the Change a Pet’s Life Contest in 2015 to help homeless pets get the life-changing medical treatment they need to be adopted into a forever home.

Great contest!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful contest! You're so right, the cost of medical treatment is a huge challenge for shelters & rescue organizations. In municipal shelters it can even mean the difference between an animal being saved... or not. So glad you're helping spread the word about this contest! We just started using 1800PetMeds last year, it's been great.
