Pierre: “When Mom mentioned it was time for spring cleaning, I had no idea that she meant me! I was taken to my favorite PetSmart groomer, Miss Ann. She loves me and always does a terrier-rific job on my fur. I feel so soft and since it is already in the upper 80’s here on the Bayou, it is much cooler without all that extra fluff. Bentley brags that he has wash and wear hair because he never has to get a haircut. He does shed like crazy though so he has to get brushed every day. I am not a fan of brushing so I avoid it as much as I can. So tell me, do you take your dog to the groomer for a haircut or are they wash and wear too?”

ReplyDeleteStrike a pose!!! You look marvelous! Best Spring cleaning ever! <3
ReplyDeleteMomma says one of her bassets would blow his coat every spring - it would look like we'd skinned rabbits or something in da backyard!
ReplyDeleteOMD, you do look pawsome in your new furcut Pierre
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

PeeS Could you send some of that warmth over here pleeeeeease!
Looking handsome as ever!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking simply FABULOUS Pierre!! As you know...we have to go see Miss Teena pretty often! We have heard that the treatment is scheduled for first week of April...not too much longer! 80's is HOT!! We do best when it stays in the 70's...but mama always has the A/C on full blast anyway! BOL!!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking most handsome, Pierre! It must be the season. I got spring cleaned too!
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome, P. #fluffy I am also wash and wear. Mom sticks my sorry butt into the tub now and then and Furminates me every few days. I have set shedding records around the world. She threatens to build a new (good) dog with the hair and throw me in the garbage. I hope she's kidding.... *gulp*
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
I have to admit, I needed sunglasses to look at your photo! That shiny white fur is blinding! I go to the groomer every 2-3 months for a total clean up, Bailie is wash and wear, and the little one is somewhere in the middle. None of us are grooming fans.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! I just got my spring buzz cut too.
ReplyDeleteShe spring cleaned you! The nerve
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Elsa is wagging her tail in approval, Pierre! #handsomeboy
ReplyDeletePawsome cut Pierre!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, I am a 'wash & wear' kind of dog and let me tell you.
I am not a fan of the wash.

My Melanie, being a smooth, black & tan dachshund, was a wash & wear doggie. That was good news for her since she hated baths.
ReplyDeleteOh, Pierre, you're looking particularly perfect post grooming! My sister and I both go to the spa, as Mommy calls it. Our groomer is Miss Morgan, and we love her . . . almost as much as Mommy loves her. By the way,. what's with these 80-degree temperatures in March? Hello . . . Mother Nature . . . did you forget about spring?
ReplyDeleteYou look all ready for Spring, love the collar! Mom grooms us as home, unfortunately we are wash and wear! BOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy-Go-Doodle Chloe here! Hello, Pierre! Love your cutie hair!
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, Pierre!!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Pierre, you are looking SO good! We have a couple of wash and wear dogs here, and it is getting time for that wash too!
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Looking good, Pierre!
ReplyDeleteSince we are NOT big fans of Mom giving us BAFFS... we are more Wash and SWEAR sorta guys.
ReplyDeleteMOM does OUR groomering after baffs... even using the Dremel on our nails... WE LOVE the Grooming pawt... and the DREMEL feels grrrrreat...
We get brushed/Combed almost EVERY Evening... Which is FINE by US.
Glad that you like going to your Groomer Gal. You look FABULOUS.
I seem to get a lot of baths, possibly one every two weeks and more often after/before a therapy visit. No haircuts though. But don't say it too loudly or they will start getting ideas around here - WOOF! By the way, you look lovely!
ReplyDeleteU look pawsome. They did a good job grooming u.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Pierre! Your groomer did a great job with our hair cut. That is a great look for spring. :)

You look great, Pierre! I bet it feels good to have a new cut and trim this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBoth wash-and-wear dogs in the menagerie. Although, at one point, Sinead did have to go to the salon for manicures and pedicures. She's still weird about me touching her feet, but she has improved enough that I can do the work at home, thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Two out of three kitties don't mind being brushed. Maxie would prefer the luck-and-dry grooming technique! 😎
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, LICK and dry ... 😜
