Wordless in Black and White

There is something special about black and white photographs. They seem to bring out the true personality of your subjects and I love that.
Bentley is mellow and loving.
Pierre's is faithful and happy.
I wouldn't change a thing about either of our boys.

  8. Who needs color when you have coats like that.

    1. I realized the other day when looking at Bentley that when Pierre gets older, his coat won't change colors. Bentley's face is getting whiter.

  16. Black and white pares down the image to its most essential elements. Too much color can be very distracting. I love black and white photographs because they encourage your eyes to focus on the facial expressions and mannerisms, not the colors.

  17. Black and white photos are great, they can really bring a whole different feel to a photo. These are beautiful photos of the boys! I have a great b/w photo of Icy taken in the woods on one of our favorite trails. She's kind of inside a tree and she looks like a wolf! I just love it.

  19. Black and white works great for Pierre and Bentley! They are so cute. I think that black and white draws you to the mood of the subject rather than spreading your focus the way color does. There is something really unique about black and white images. :)

  20. Oh, Mom & I totally agree! What wonderful pics of Bentley & Pierre. I love the contrast of black and white photos & how black and white makes the eyes focus on the subject & not color. Mom likes them, too, cause they remind her of old black and white films that she loves. Purrs! -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews
