Happy 12th Birthday, Bentley!

Bentley: “Hey Pierre! Instead of the news, we get to tell everyone about my furbulous twelfth birthday. That’s right, I celebrated turning the BIG 1-2 yesterday so I thought you would like to see how we paw-tied on the Bayou.”

   I was so excited to get a brand-new *Lambchop. Pierre is a known serial Lambchop killer so I’m going to try to keep this baby away from him. You can see that he is already eyeing it!

   Sure enough, Pierre snatched Lambchop and ran into the living room. Mom gave me a stuffed *Gumby next and when I saw Pierre drop Lambchop to look at my newest gift, I put Gumby’s head in my mouth…for his own protection." Pierre: “I had to do something because I didn’t see a birthday cake anywhere.

   Wait!! It’s CAKE!! Give it to me! Give it to me! I LOVE cake! PUH-LEEZE!!”
Bentley: “Well, that escalated quickly! Simmer down, Pierre and put your paws back on the floor. That’s my *birthday cake squeaky toy and I love it. Maybe I share...maybe I won't. It looks awfully fun!"

   This is going to be one of those toys that I drag around all over the house. The candle will make it easy to tote. It is really soft and has a big squeak!

   Mom decided not to do a birthday cake or cookie this year. I usually end up with an upset tummy from eating too much and Pierre’s digestive issues keep him from being able to eat anything like that. She made it up to us by preparing *Dr. Harvey’s Canine Health with extra chunks of boiled chicken! Instead of warm water, she substituted Castor & Pollux® Pristine Free-Range Chicken Broth! My belly was so happy! 

   Excuse the drool but it was just that kind of special dinner and day. I had a great birthday and look forward to another year of love and laughter.”
