Barkworthies Bully Sticks - Naturally Healthy

Bentley: “Hey Pierre, do you see what I see?  There is an envelope from Barkworthies® on the counter.  Their bully sticks are the natural chews and I naturally choose you to try to jump up there.  ”
Pierre: “What? No way!  I’ll do the “Lassie” routine where I go stare at Gramma and then race back in here to the counter.  She is always so impressed with that old standby.”
Bentley: “Hee-hee!  You’re right, Mom is so easy.  I think I’ll use the “stop working and entertain me” method.  If she is busy, she will use the Barkworthies as a distraction.”
Me: “I can hear y’all.  It just so happens that there are two bully sticks in there.  I wish that I knew two dogs that weren’t manipulative to share them with…”  *Opening envelope

52 Snapshots of Life ~ One Week at a Time

Throughout last year, I have seen several photo challenges on various websites.  I was intrigued, but hated joining halfway into a challenge.  When I noticed some of my blogging buddies were joining The Lazy Pit Bull and the 2015 “52 Snapshots of Life,” I was excited!  The prompt words are fun and seem easy to achieve.  We are excited to accept the challenge.
The first word is NEW.  What can be better than a NEW puppy?  In case you missed her introduction earlier, this is our new “granddog” Miss Paisley the Chocolate Lab.  At seven weeks she is a bundle of jumping joy. Soon, she is going to join my son and his wife on their fishing trips.  Paisley has a fantastic life ahead of her.  I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot of her.  You can follow her Instagram account here.

“When I get a little bigger, I’m gonna be a fishin’ dog.  Real girls fish!”

Platypus and Fox

Bentley::  “Friends, I am here today to tell you about a mischievous murder that happened right inside my home.  Some of you may remember back in March when we received a Skinneeez Platypus in our PetBox.  It was one of the best toys ever.  Patty, as I affectionately called her, was my favorite toy.  I speak of her in past tense due to an unbarkable crime.  I hate to make it sound like Pierre is to blame, but it is all his fault."
Pierre: “You can’t prove that I had anything to do Miss Patty’s sudden demise.  In my opinion, she has been looking pretty frail for the past few weeks.  I’m surprised that she lasted this long.  The poor platypus never had an ounce of stuffing in her.  I think she just withered away.  It’s so sad.”

Bentley: “You've been trying to kill Patty Platy since she moved in with us.  She was a great toy; I’m going to miss her.  Bless her heart."
