This is Black and White Sunday’s Blog
Hop. Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden
Retriever are the hosts. Our thoughts
and wishes for a complete recovery are with Sugar as she recovers from a
surgery earlier this week. Bentley and Pierre
send love and licks her way.
I
offer proof in Black and White that once upon a time, the Bayou State actually
received snow. Bentley loved catching
snowballs!

ReplyDeleteThanks JoAnn, It was so difficult to get a photo without a million people in the Imagine memorial. People were posing all around it. : ) Yes, snow is indeed a rare thing for us so we enjoy it whenever it happens.
DeleteLove the picture of Bentley catching snowballs! We got a little bit of snow last night but not enough to really play in:( It's just cold here!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. That snow was several years ago, it is a very rare occurrence here. We take advantage of it although it is seldom more than an inch or two!
DeleteLove seeing a Basset leaping for a snowball! Funny!
ReplyDeleteIt was hilarious because he thought it would be like his regular tennis balls. He was very surprised when his teeth went through it. : )

Bentley loves to catch popcorn too. The snow is always amazing here and to have enough to actually play in was so much fun! It has been a few years since we've had any significant snow. : (
DeleteGreat action shot! Looks like he was having loads of fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the second picture and the pop of color. So pretty.
Thanks! We all had a great time playing in it. We never get snow so it turns all of us into kids again with snowball fights and building snowmen. I hope we get some this year.

ReplyDeleteBentley can move fast when the occasion calls for him to. : ) That is a snow from several years ago. We do enjoy it when we get it although it is very rare!
DeleteWe live in Baton Rouge, and that was my first and only snowfall, just before my first birthday. We played and played and played. :-) Really love your Imagine photo. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHey a fellow Louisiana blogger! I love your Golden Retriever and the photo with the wreath. It really is one of my favorites. Yes, snow is so much fun for us because we never get any! My kids were a bit older before they ever saw any, but we did have a blast playing! : )
