It's beautiful Sepia Saturday hosted by Ruckus the Eskie. It is quickly becoming a favorite for blog
hopping because the photography has been so fabulous. If you haven't taken the time to visit the
other blogs, I urge you to take the time today.
Today’s sepia
shows Bentley’s seven on his side. This
mark was the inspiration for my book, The
Returns. The FBI Agent #7 is “returned”
to Earth in the body of a Basset Hound.
In the story, he kept his soulful brown eyes and hair along with his
badge number.
I can see the number 7 on hisside:) beautiful photo
ReplyDeleteThanks for hopping by Sepia Saturday! Have a great day.
DeleteNice one. I'll check out your book now. Have a lovely Saturday.
ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa, I appreciate it very much. Enjoy your Saturday!
DeleteBentley sure looks good in sepia! His 7 is definitely a unique marking, now wonder it inspired a character in your book. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sepia Saturday,
Oz
Thanks Oz~His 7 certainly makes him easy to identify! He is also our 7th dog...weird, huh?!
DeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat marking! and so unique!
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Hey Hawk! I'm glad you came by today. I will definitely be hopping by your blog. : )
DeleteGreat photo and marking!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sepia Saturday :)
I'm happy that you hopped in to see me!
DeleteLove the inspiration behind your book!
ReplyDeleteThank you! He insists that he is the same humble Basset that he was before becoming a "Cover Dog" but his belly-rub demands seem more frequent to me! LOL!
DeleteOh wow!! That is so cool the "7'' !!! I've seen different things like that before, like a dog heaving a heart in their makings! So cool! Makes for a unique looking dog!!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to work with u on the dog fighting awareness! If you want to contact me so we can discuss further, my email is markandjenna01@gmail.com or my Fb page HuskyCrazed SibePage you can contact me either way! Thanks!

Oh, I'm looking forward to working with you! I will definitely be in touch. Thank you so much.
DeleteAgreed! Everyone has some fabulous photos!
ReplyDeleteIt is one of my favorite photo days. They are all so unique, sepia seems soothing to me.
DeleteWhat better inspiration than the 7 on Bentley's side for a novel! Buffy Cat has a heart on her chest, but a 7 is way more complicated! Wonderful photo in sepia. Happy Sepia Saturday!
ReplyDeleteA heart is really cool too! I was shocked when my husband pointed out the seven to me. We had Bentley a couple of weeks before I saw it. There are several bizarre coincidences surrounding us getting him and his number so I'm sure he was meant to be mine. LOL! : )
DeleteThat is so cool that Bentley has a 7 on his side! Duke doesn't have any fun marks like that but I love it when other dogs do!
ReplyDeleteI have seen some neat markings on other dogs. We had someone ask if we painted it on him when we were out walking him one day. I thought that would be a bizarre thing to paint on the side of my dog!! I should have told him, "Yep, my other dogs are painted with numbers 1 thru 6!!" hahaha!
DeleteThat 7 is very very cool. Gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteoh thank you thank you for getting rid of you captcha thing. Commenting is so much easier now! :)
DeleteJoAnn, Thanks and you are so welcome! I noticed that was a very common complaint on almost every blog I visited yesterday. I went to see what my settings were on my comments and saw I had the captcha too. It does make it so much easier! : )
DeleteAmen! Have a great night.
DeleteThanks for linking up to my blog hop for Sepia Saturday! Wow Bentley's 7 really stands out in this Sepia photo. Great choice for photo. Also thannks for all your support on this bloghop. Means alot to have such good friends!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you thinking of Sepia Saturday. I sincerely mean it when I say it is my favorite kind of photography. I always want to get one of the "Old Timey" photos done at Six Flags where you dress in the old clothes and they do the picture in sepia. One day I'll take the plunge! LOL!
DeleteWhat a lovely photo, just love the 7. We just recently learned of Ruckus's Sepia Saturday and hope to start participating this week!
