This Dog Would

Hello!  I’m so glad that you dropped by to see us.  Thursday night we had bad thunderstorms rumbling through the night.  When a storm hits, I have to get up while Bentley frets.  He will tap my arm until I accompany him.  We usually just sit and talk.
Me: “Well, tomorrow is Sepia Saturday hosted by our friend, Ruckus the Eskie.”
Bentley: “I love all those cool sepia pictures.  Which one are you going to use?  Will it be another one of my handsome mug?
Me:  “Daddy took some pretty shots of flowers.  Here look at this one.  Would you like me to use it?”
Bentley: “This dog would.”
Me: “Yes, this Dogwood.”
Bentley: “Ummm, yeah…”
Me: “Sorry, after the seriousness of my last post, I couldn’t resist!”

The Dogwoods are so lovely in bloom.

*You can still hop in the Pet Parade.  It’s a great way to grow your Social Media.

**Mark your calendar for this Tuesday to join Tuesday’s Tails as we share adoptable Pit Bulls and join in National Dog Fighting Awareness Day.

Be sure to stop by and visit Ruckus the Eskie.
Have a terrific day and enjoy these other sepia photos.

  3. Gorgeous! I love how you pop the photo out of the frame. You did that with one of Bentley a week or so ago too. Very cool!

  4. Ha ha, good one, you two! :) Lovely photo too!
Sorry to hear Bentley has problems with thunderstorms. The overnight ones are the worst, when we all lose sleep here too.

  7. Happy Sepia Saturday - those dogwoods sure are beautiful. Everything here is starting to turn green too (from the winter brown) so it's lovely.

  8. Hi Y'all!

Yes, the dogwoods are glorious this year. The wisteria is running wild in the pine tops. The late blooming azaleas are in full bloom and only the last still sporting their buds. Unfortunately the 90 degree weather has slowed this fellow down a wee might. It's slowing my Humans too because everything seems to be coated in at least a quarter inch of pollen or more.

    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog
