My Dog is Hungry

On Wordless Wednesday, we asked what Bentley had on his mind.  If you guessed dinner, ding*ding*ding, you’re absolutely correct. There is no doubt about how to tell when he is hungry. He has his dinner timed within a five-minute window.  After that, he is certain hallucinations and starvation are imminent.  This is what happens if I don’t react to his initial hint.
 “Excuse me…Mom.”

 “Mom, look at the time!”

“Hey Dad, I need that spot on the couch.  Mom is not moving toward the kitchen.”

“MOM!!!  My dinner is officially late!”

How does your pet let you know it's time to eat?

  3. When I'm hungry I sit by the kitchentable and look at it. Then I either get my food or a treat. Same tactics.

  4. We dogs don't really worry about it, but cat bro Bert rips the toilet paper to shreds in the half bath if his dinner is late! You are pretty funny, Bentley!

  6. 2.45 on the dot - every day - Mr Denny comes over to me and does his "oh oh winge" ......that means dinner time. It use to be 3.00 but when we switched to sojos food - it became 2.45 because I have to let the sojos soak for 15 minutes to be read for 3.00. Smart little Denny figured out the time difference :)

  8. LOL!! I'm cracking up because Isis is the same way; she knows precisely when it's time to eat. If we are late, she gives us that low growling sound which gets progressively worse w/ each minute. Like if she doesn't eat on time she will never eat again.... Great pics of Bentley, as always!

  11. That explains why Bentley looked so serious!
My hubby does most of the feedings, and if he happens to be sitting on the couch at supper time, Cricket will get right up on top of him in his face and start licking him!

  16. OMD, those pics are just pawsome!!! Bentley, you tell her! You might just have to call the ASPCA next time! Geesh.
I'm a free feeder, so I mostly can eat anytime I wants, so no worries here. Oh, unless I eats all my kibble in the bowl and wants more....and Ma says no. Then some whining can start....☺

    Ruby ♥
