Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

It feels so good outside.  The weather has turned cool, which makes it much easier to extend our walks.  Of course, longer walks lead to longer naps!  I’m trying to explain to Bentley that the extra hour of sleep was only a one-night deal.  He says I should learn to let sleeping dogs lie!

When he naps beside me on our recliner couch, his head rests on the foot part.  It looks uncomfortable so I always give him a pillow to put under his head.  Some people might consider that spoiled; he assures me they would be wrong.

Do people tell you that you spoil your best four-legged friend?

  12. No matter what day it is, my mom gets up far too early, so I have started getting up shortly before she does and I go and sleep in my bed in the pet room until she forces me up to go for a walk. Let sleeping dogs lie just doesn't work around here.

  20. I'm often accused of spoiling Laika on the couch as well - I'm always placing pillows near her and cozy blankets around her. Personally I don't see it as spoiling; we're just making sure our canine friends are comfy.
