I want to introduce you to some new friends. They are the family of Dr. Harvey’s Fine Health Food for Companion Animals. You can just call them Dr. Harvey’s and you are going to want to become great friends with them. Why? They make the highest quality products with no processed ingredients. You’ll find they have wonderful products for ALL of your pets. That means if you have a dog, cat, horse, or bird; Dr. Harvey has you covered with everything you’ll need.
We recently received a box chocked full of some of the terrific items they offer for dogs. In order for you to appreciate everything, we can look at them separately over the next few weeks. I will start with one of Bentley’s favorites.
Dr. Harvey’s Coconut Smiles are simply delightful. They have one
ingredient…organic coconut. It is dehydrated and delicious. How do I know? Let me admit to being a coconut nut! When I saw the single ingredient, I tried it and I loved it. The next test came with the boys. Bentley and Pierre were more than happy to taste test them, repeatedly. Their verdict was unanimous. They are crazy about them and it is our new table treat. They are always waiting for us to ‘drop’ food for them. We started dropping healthy treats for them and it has helped with weight control.
It’s so much better for them than what we are eating. Anyway, the bag has so many pieces that it will last a long time. The resealable bags are available in 4 oz. bags for $7.95 and an 8 oz. bag for $12.95. It is a great deal and you can order them from Dr. Harvey’s
Coconut Smiles will bring a smile to your dog's face! |
"Mom, you forgot to open the bag for me!" |
You have probably seen recipes that call for coconut or coconut oil for your dog’s treats. Coconut is considered a ‘superfood’ since it has countless health benefits. The powerful nutrients and fiber help support digestion. I like feeding my dogs coconut that is meant for dogs with nothing artificial and no by-products. Dr. Harvey’s will only use coconuts
sourced directly from farmers, cultivated sustainably, and in accordance with fair trade practices. I feel good about giving them a healthy alternative for a snack, training reward, or treats.
"I have a lovely bunch of coconuts!" |
We will introduce you to more great Dr. Harvey’s products for dogs soon. In the meantime, follow them on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter for helpful information, new products, and fun.
Tell them Bentley sent you!
