We wondered what it was about the suave
That is when we noticed he was "toad-ally"rockin’ a customized
Pierre Dog Hair Mustache. It gets ‘em every time.
~True Toad Tale~
I let the boys out to play yesterday while we did our yard work. We were going to be outside for some time so their water bowls needed to be washed and filled. One particular bowl stays on our patio in the shade. It has a cut out on either side for your hands. When I picked it up there were four toads hiding underneath. We have a toad house and shrubbery where they usually stay during the day. At night they come out and eat our bugs, we love them. Bentley and Pierre just ignore them so that is not a worry. This water dish is new, so the toads must have thought that we bought them a fancy home with a rooftop swimming pool.
They all just sat there stunned on the patio. I had definitely ruined their good time. My husband took some photos of them. When he began looking through the shots, he noticed this one big toad had a piece of Pierre’s hair under its nose. We laughed that even our toads can’t escape the dog hair!

ReplyDeleteOh Melissa! What a cute story! I thought my sister was the only one who had those toad houses!! Our Big Guy used to have a friend called Mr. Toad. He would look for him every single night. Since Zippo passed away, we haven't seen Mr. Toad...often wonder what happened to him.
