Me: “We have some tasty treats to tell you about today. They are from our friends at Vita Bone® so I know Bentley and Pierre are going to love them.”
Bentley: “We heard you mention treats and our names so we raced over to lend our paws. Is this legit or an April Fool’s Day joke? You know better than to toy with my emotions when it comes to Vita Bone treats.”
Pierre: “She wouldn’t fool us about something as delicious as Vita Bone Biscuits. They have 23 essential vitamins and minerals including omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and glucosamine from salmon oil and chicken. That’s no joke!”
Bentley: “I’m not trying to brag but we did meet the actual Vita Bone in person last year at the BlogPaws™ conference. The company has been family-owned and operated in Ogden, Utah since 1972. Jack Behnken, the founder knew that dogs were not just pets; they were part of the family. After developing a recipe full of the highest quality ingredients and following strict safety and quality standards he laid the foundation for the way they still make their treats. Vita Bone Biscuits are made to be deliciously balanced so they keep dogs happy with a great taste and humans are happy because of the nutritious ingredients. It is a win/win situation.”
Pierre: “Check it out; Vita Bone Biscuits come in three varieties; original, basted, and flavors. Pet parents can always find the perfect combination for their dog. Personally, I think variety is the spice of life and these flavors have me drooling.”
· Wheat
· Chicken
· Vegetables
· Cheese
· Beef
· Liver
Bentley: “Smell my breath! Seriously, these biscuits have my breath fresh and my teeth feel clean between brushings. I can run my tongue across them and know I have some pearly whites! They also promote healthy skin; provide immune system support, a well-conditioned coat, and good joint health. This is awesome news for those with dry, itchy skin. If I scratch, I wonder if Mom will give me another biscuit.”
Pierre: “It’s worth a try…wait just a minute. Look, Bentley! What is that she has in her hand? Are those…YES! Mom has Vita Bone Chewy for us too. Oh, joyous day!”
Bentley: “I love a soft treat for a little pick-me-up in the middle of the day. These are available in beef, lamb, bacon and chicken. We aren’t talking about flavoring either. Vita Bone Chewy is made with real meat. They are the perfect size snack.”
Pierre: “What’s she doing? Is she breaking our delicious and nutritious Chewy stick into smaller pieces? You know what that means. We had better go do some leg stretches to prepare for training. She can bring one stick, break off little bite-sized pieces and use it through our entire session.”
Bentley: “Just like our mom, the Behnken family believes in positive reinforcement training. They have been working with pet expert and certified dog/cat behavior consultant Steve Dale to promote the idea of rewarding a good behavior. You can find articles and training videos about positive reinforcement at Vita Bone. Watch out while I sit up for a bite of chicken Chewy. Nailed it!”
Pierre: “Providing a quick treat or fun game immediately following good behavior is the best way for us to learn. Okay, here is an example of positive reinforcement for our readers; Vita Bone has coupons they can print out to save 50¢ on Chewy treats or $1 on their Biscuits. That is because you were so good to visit us today.”
Bentley: “Now, that is a great positive reward, but that is not all. We are giving away a Vita Bone Gift Basket! Register below for your chance to win Vita Bone Biscuits, Chews, and lots of Vita Bone swag.

ReplyDeleteI am loving the photo of Bentley sitting pretty!!! Great review too!
ReplyDeleteWe can't have treats in our household unless they are of a special kind. This is because we have allergies and we itch all the time if we get even a little bit of something we're not supposed to!
ReplyDeleteThese look great, anything to help with their breath I think the Goldens would drool for the Cheese treats!
ReplyDeleteWow what a great "sitter" Bentley is :)
ReplyDeleteI'll tell ya - we've traveled across the country and had these as treats over nearly 4K miles! Our pups - loved em!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure my dogs would love them all, but I think the chewy stick version would be the favorite.
ReplyDeleteWe love how Bentley is sitting up for his Vita Bone.
ReplyDeleteThose must be some delicious treats if you are willing to do those tricks to get them! It is so cool that you met the real, live Vita Bone too. ;) I bet that the pups at the rescue I work with would love them.
