Keep Calm and Enjoy Friday 13th

Are you a superstitious person? You are safe spending part of your Friday Thirteenth with us. We are tossing caution to the wind and jumping on three blog hops for the weekend.
Our first hop is Da DB Boyz and Rosie’s Flower Friday. Join in for some beautiful flora throughout Blogville. We are sharing some gorgeous flowers that Skipper photographed when he was in Eisenach, Germany for work. I dream of having window boxes like these one day.

Beautiful flowers and ancient buildings in Germany
10 gorgeous flower boxes on German building

Next, we are joining our friends McGuffy's Reader and 15 and Meow1ing for Friendly Fill-Ins. Be sure to hop around and see everyone’s answers.
I like to give the Bayou Boys a chance to participate in these fill-ins since they are always barking their ideas when I am thinking of my answers.
Bentley Basset Hound writing with feather pen
Bentley Basset Hound:
• Keep calm and scratch my belly.
Chocolate being bad for dogs disappoints me.
Pierre is my best friend. Don’t tell him though, he gets a bit carried away.
• In retrospect, it is always a bad idea to lick a frog.
Pierre Westie in sunglasses and blue tie
Pierre Westie:
• Keep calm and I have no idea. I’m a Westie and that means I have never been calm a day in my life.
Squirrels disappoint me. They are too quick when I chase them and too agile in the trees. Why don't they fall?
Bentley is my best friend. Oh my gosh!?! He said the same thing? We have to get matching tee shirts and maybe a tattoo that says Best Friends Forever. This is the luckiest Friday Thirteenth EVER!
• In retrospect, a tattoo might hurt so we can just do the shirts.

  1. I'm with you to kiss a frog gives you a trip to the vet butt no prince ;o) we think furryday the 13th is special... the mama confused a walnut with a phenny nut in the early morning as she removed the nuts from our lawn ... that probably means it is a sh*t-day ;o)

    1. We got a big laugh at your walnut story! Frogs are so nasty tasting and can make us sick.

  3. Those window boxes are fabulous - and so easy to water, right!
I wish those stoopid squirrels would lose their footing and fall to the ground too, Pierre! Our days would be even more fun☺

    1. I have always loved window boxes but these are really gorgeous. Pierre never loses faith that one day a squirrel will fall.

  4. Oh dear, it is Friday the 13th, isn't it! Those flowers are typical Germany. Mom had similar ones on the balcony when we lived there, but they are not up in the northern part of the country.

  5. Ghostwriter says she remembers all the pretty flower boxes when she visited Germany in 1976. (yeah, when dinosaurs walked the Earth!) My Joanna human tried growing flowers and herbs in a flower box when she had her first apartment in the City. The Evil Squirrel Cartel would dig up her flowers, and bury scraps they stole from the restaurant dumpster across the street. What a mess! Crummy squirrels!

  13. You guys rock. What great answers. In our house, it is George who wants chocolate, and Clyde wants coffee. Let me assure you that Mom makes sure they don't! The dogs seem okay with things as long as they get treats of some kind. Mom insists they get good ones, though. Back in the day, before chipping, my Shelties were tattooed, though it was their reg. number not a cool BFF. HUGS!
