Sit...Stay

Bentley Basset: “It’s day 8 of our humans’ government ordered “Stay at Home” mandate which means we have them all to ourselves! It’s the greatest time ever to be a dog or cat.”
Pierre Westie: “Mom and Dad are retired but our jobs as guard dogs are essential.

I am on my perimeter search and it seems another dog passed by earlier. I’m going to bark even though he is long gone. Again, it’s my job.”

Bentley: “Wake me if there is an emergency.”
Bentley: “No, a lizard is not an emergency.”

Bentley: “Please don’t disturb my grooming experience with your lizard hunt. Again, it is NOT an emergency."

Westie
Pierre: “I didn’t say spotting a lizard was an emergency, but it can lead to an exciting chase. Now, where did it go?”

Louie da Lizard: “That little white terrier-ist will never recognize me with my mustache made from his own fur!” (Insert evil lizard laugh)
Westie
Pierre: “Don’t worry, I know he’s there. I’m just trying to act cool and hope Mom doesn’t want to brush me next.”
Sharing coffee
Bentley: “It is a weird and scary time to be a human. Ours are riding their bikes again, doing household chores, and making the best of their time together. We hope your humans are doing well and taking care of themselves. Remember to give them extra love as they are going to need it.”

  5. Did Louie get away? The closest thing we have to a lizard is a squirrel.

  7. Looks like all is well and peaceful at your house. Except for the brushing. And the evil lizard. And the midnight possible dog-intruder. Stay safe, frens.

  8. Congrats to Allen J!

Yup these are strange times and definitely call for CCS (close canine surveillance). You guys look like you're holding up well. Go easy on the lizard though, Pierre. Life is rough enough on them. 🦎

  13. We hit day 17 here. Lady guesses it will be between 60-90 days before things start to change. Lady wonders how people without pets are surviving.
