How to Help Shelter Dogs for Free

Thank you dropping into Barking from the Bayou today for Tuesday’s Tails.  Dogs ‘N Pawz and Talking Dogs are the hosts of this weekly blog hop bringing hope to shelter pets everywhere.  Please share the photos of these beautiful pets that are patiently waiting to share their love with a forever family.
If you aren’t looking to adopt a pet right now, there are still many ways to help.  Here are some free things that you can do every day to donate food to shelter animals.  Many pet businesses donate a portion of their profit to benefit the homeless dogs and cats.  You can check on websites to see if your favorite pet company pays it forward.
FreeKibble.com provides 10 pieces of kibble each time you play their pet trivia
game.  The pets win their kibble whether you are correct or not.  Halo, Purely for Pets is the official Kibble sponsor.  It is a fun way to help.
My sidebar has the widget that allows you to click and provide a bowl of food.  It is sponsored by The Animal Rescue Site.  http://theanimalrescuesite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/
This YouTube video takes one minute to watch and is a great way to help.  YouTube has a feature called monetization.  The Pedigree Adoption Drive created this video and receives 55% of the advertising revenue.  In this case, all money raised goes toward feeding, treating, and finding homes for dogs in need.

Now, here is something FREE just for you and your pets.  The ASPCA offers a
pet safety pack for fire/emergency rescue.  It includes window decals to alert emergency personnel that you have animals in your home and a magnet with their Poison Control number.  https://www.aspca.org/form/free-pet-safety-pack?ms=wb_rig_homepage-generallarge-201307&initialms=wb_rig_homepage-generallarge-201307

We are featuring two lovely ladies that need homes to call their own.  All of our featured dogs are available from PetSavers in Shreveport, LA.  Please share them on your Social Media.  I’d like you to meet Daisy and Rosie.

This is a Tuesday’s Tails blog hop so hop on to see these other deserving pets.  Thanks!
